Biggest plus point was the food. Crab cakes were divine as was the filet Oscar style!!

We were extremely disappointed with the hostess staff. I made reservations online. I didn’t see that my seating option was for outside. The hostess said it was a problem with OpenTable when they are busy, the app places customers outside. That is a Forbes Mills issue that needs to be fixed with the app and online reservations. The hostess told us she didn’t have a table inside the restaurant for us but could seat us outside. It was cold outside and no other patrons were sitting outside. She then changed her story to seating us at the next high table in bar area. Her boss came up and told us, we would have wait for a high table but he couldn’t guarantee the wait time. He walked away and came back to tell us he could seat us at a table but we had an hour and fifteen minutes to eat. We were seated, all to see multiple tables that were empty. Extremely disappointed in the hostess staff. The wait staff were great. I felt the hostess staff were rude and racist. I will not patronize Forbes Mills in the future because of how we were treated. There are a few other steakhouses in the area that offer a better service, quality of food and drinks. I have patronized Forbes Mills since they opened. Hostess staff disparately need customer service and DEI training.

Let’s start with the important part: the food is so good, you’ll wonder why you eat anything else. Seriously everything is amazing It was a hit noisier than I like in a steakhouse. Also, after a few glasses of wine, *I* was a little louder than I like in a steakhouse. We can call that one a wash because I was a big part of the problem. Let’s look at their tipping requirements. We had only a party of five and they included a mandatory gratuity. I don’t like this policy, and if it didn’t exist, I would tip higher than their policy. Unfortunately I’m a stubborn guy, and I don’t tip on top of a mandatory gratuity, so the servers and tipped-out staff lose. I can understand for a party of eight, but I think that a party of five should not be required to do anything.

Anniversary dinner was excellent. "Ed" our server was friendly and helpful and food was deliciousl. Not our first visit, but we will definitely come again.

Amy and Manny did a super job making our family dinner an amazing experience . They were attentive and knowledgeable . The food was perfect . Love Forbes Mille We love Suzanne as our server too but she was off tonight .

We love the food at Forbes Mill. It is the perfect special occasion restaurant. We will definitely be back. Our only suggestion to other diners is to look who you will be sat next to. There are lots of business folks that eat there and on our anniversary we were sat next to a group of four men that talked loud and continually our whole meal.

Always respectful, great ambiance and DELICIOUS FOOD. great drink menu, wine menu, and love it all. Best steaks and always using the best premium cuts. We always go here when we want to have a date night or celebrate a special occasion.

One word AMAZING!! The food was delicious and our server was top notch!!! The drinks were good too. No complaints at all.
