Nestled in the picturesque village of Lowonsford, on the banks of the Stratford Canal, between winding country roads that used to be part of the Forest of Arden, The Fleur De Lys is the very best kind of country pub. Packed full of quaint charm and quirky corners beneath its C16th wooden beams, The Fleur is a cosy haven in the winter and an extensive paradise in the summer. There are so many tiny wonders packed into this historic building that you will always find something new to fall in love with when you visit. Our garden boasts an acre of land to run riot on and a low level wooden children’s playground, alongside over 30 tables and benches. We’re ideally situated for walkers and ramblers who wish to explore the canal towpath or a variety of local walks. If you’re intending on zooming through this part of Warwickshire on a bicycle, The Fleur makes an excellent intermediary watering hole to fortify you for the ride ahead.

Good food and even though very busy we were still served promptly. Great service from staff. Well done for keeping smiling when it must be stressful to keep on top of all the orders. Mrs. H.

The food was excellent. Sadly we were sat at a table right next to the bar. Almost as though it was a last option although we had booked over a week ago. We felt like we were in the way people were queuing along side the table while we were eating. Very disappointed. Only had main course and not offered dessert or coffee.

We had a lovely evening meal on Wednesday and then Sunday lunch today. 3 pies, all the others said were good. I had roast pork and the 2 slices of meat were good but the potatoes weren't great and the other veg a little lacklustre. Needed more gravy which was brought and I ordered a Yorkshire pudding which was very tasty. I'd say a little over-priced really. We didn't have a dessert as we weren't entirely drawn to them as they all seemed rather rich. We'll be back as usual, but maybe stick to the evenings.

This is the second time visiting the pub ,the food is outstanding nice portions,not rushed at all ,staff again were brilliant. I had the steak and kidney pie what can you say but wow ,and the wife had the chicken and wild mushroom pie again absolutely out of this world. Now the pudding my wife had the creme brulee that was the best she had since Cyprus,I had the apple and cinnamon crumble it was huge and tasted so good . Thankyou

It’s always a pleasure to eat at the Fleur. The food tonight was particularly good. My husband had the liver - which he never gets at home & I opted for the lamb hotpot. The portions were very generous & excellently cooked with a portion of fresh vegetables. Well done Fleur. You set the bar high & consistently keep it up there. Lovely to see familiar faces on the staff & the service was of its usual high standard.

Excellent menu, attentive and pleasant team supporting the Customers. The food was excellent, tasty, the right portion size. Will be eating there again.
