De Barcelona a Montreal El Tapas 24, situado en el corazón del centro histórico de Montreal, rinde homenaje a la gastronomía de Barcelona. Sirve un menú con platillos clásicos y modernos diseñado y ejecutado por el chef Carles Abellán. El menú consta de diversas tapas, platillos caseros y platillos clásicos de este restaurante español de gran reputación. El establecimiento, vibrante y lleno de energía, homenajea tanto a los bares de tapas modernos como a Montreal y Barcelona, ambas ciudades modernas. Carta de vinos por François Chartier La carta de vinos la ha creado François Chartier "Créateur d’harmonies", natural de Quebec y de fama mundial, que ha sido nombrado Best Sommelier in the World (Grand Prix Sopexa 1994 Paris) y anteriormente fue asesor en la creación de recetas del chef Ferran Adrià, del legendario restaurante elBulli. La carta es variada e incluye múltiples vinos catalanes y españoles a precios económicos que se venden por botellas o copas. Para el diseño de la carta de vinos, Chartier se inspiró en la cocina catalana de Carles Abellán y del Tapas 24.

                                                                                                                    We had a couple of dishes & an appetizer. The duck tacos were delicious! Then, we had an order of the tartare & an order of sashimi. It was all really tasty. Finally, we had the salted caramel brioche & the green tea ice cream. Both very good. The music was a but loud but it's a great place for fish.

                                                                                                                    First, took us 1h30 to even talk to our waiter. She forgot our order and we only got food like 2h00 into our night. The food was ok. Way way overpriced. I feel like we got scammed.

We spent 360$ for 2 people, I would expect really good food for that price, but it wasn’t exactly top. It’s still very good but not 350$ good.

                                                                                                                    The food was good, although the steak cuts weren’t the best, i.e., lots of fat. The ambiance and decor were nice but the service leaves vast room for improvement. On one hand, the greeter reiterates that it’s 2 hours per reservation, yet the waitress took over 20 minutes to bring us our bill… ironic!
