Chef Nick Korbee is bringing locally grown, seasonally driven, elevated cuisine to Wichita, KS.
Winner of Kansas Restaurant & Hospitality Association's(KHRA) best new concept award, & several other accolades; including best cocktail & best brunch bite, the First Mile Team will deliver an amazing culinary experience.
Located in famous Bradley Fair, upon arrival you will be greeted by an open concept kitchen with a wood-burning fire hearth.
Guests can relax by the fireplace lounge while enjoying our sommelier-tailored wine list, craft cocktail menu, locally sourced beer, or even an extensive non-alcoholic list of craft mocktails, N/A beer and N/A wine.
Settle in & Listen to records at our amazing bar.
Our ash bar was crafted by hand through local carpenters sourcing all material from Kansas.
We have an extensive collection of vinyl records & you can oftentimes find our owners playing music during dinner service. Feel free to bring your favorite record & we will spin it for you!

Food was just alright and not worth the cost. We ordered fresh oysters and they were warm and our food was served cold. The waitresses were very friendly.

We met some friends who were from out of town at First Mile Kitchen for brunch and had a wonderful experience. We made a reservation and were seated timely. When I ordered the chicken salad stuffed avocado, the waiter said it was his favorite thing in the menu and I can see why! Everyone had a taste because it was too delightful not to share although, everyone else was very pleased with their meals as well. Our waiter did an excellent job. We will definitely return.

The house made Bloody Mary, a brunch staple, is outstanding with just enough kick! Lobster Devilled Eggs are creamy and topped with ample tasty lobster chunks. A great way to start. The star = 1847 Benedict. House baked sourdough muffin, crispy creamy sauteed potatoes, perfectly poached eggs and mounds of ham, complete with an awesome hollandaise sauce. At only $15 to boot, a meal that satisfied my appetite for the day! The BEST Benedict in Wichita in my humble opinion.

The food is amazing! Our servers were good but this is the fourth time I’ve eaten here and the drinks always take a very long time to get to the table. Twice they haven’t arrived until after the appetizers are out. We ordered coffee after dinner tonight and they didn’t arrive until we were halfway through our desserts. Other than this, the drinks are always well balanced, the food is great and the service is good.

We were served on Thanksgiving Day and the menu choices were great. The food and service were fantastic. It was our first time since moving back to the area and we will definitely be back for dinner.
