    My wife and I loved Firebird. Great food and great atmosphere. Jacob our waiter was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

    I normally never leave negative reviews, I just won’t go back…but this time I feel warrants comment. Took over an hour to get served our meal. They forgot the salad I ordered. The filet I ordered medium rare and it came with no pink whatsoever - way over cooked. The scalloped potatoes were too heavily seasoned with pepper (and I like pepper). The waitress was sweet but overly stretched with too many diners to serve. Base on wait times and lack of responsiveness it wasn’t worth sending back. The other meal ordered (ribs) came with cold fries and a dry cabbage slaw. The worst was the price - over $180 with tip….only 1 alcoholic beverage. 1 appetizer. 2 entrees. No dessert. The entire experience was an expensive disappointment.

    Good quality food, pricing, adult beverages, and Trevor, was exceptionally attentive with my small group, boxed our leftovers, warm hand towels, smiled, and good accuracy.

    Champs was our server. Great service from him, outstanding even. Food was very good, as usual. The only issue we had was something that has become a pattern when we dine there, which averages about once a month this year. We like to be on time and never knowing what Raleigh traffic will be like, we tend to get there 10 to 15 minutes early. Here is the pattern - they makes us stand in the lobby and wait until our reservation time, usually to the minute, even though plenty of tables are open. The hostess was very unapologetic, seemed to admit that this was on purpose, and was visually irritated that I questioned it. My wife and I are both in our 70s. Standing on concrete for that amount of time is not comfortable. Bottow line, we don't feel we are appreciated as customers. Firebirds is no longer on our go to list.
