Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: What began as a desire to recreate a beloved childhood street food has led to a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand nod for Florence-born Giovanni Mascagni. By day, his Chinatown restaurant serves focaccia-like schiacciata bread stuffed with fillings like prosciutto di Parma and bresaola beef. Come in the evening for a cozy aperitivo with Florentine-style sharing plates and cocktails.

No notable vegetarian or vegan options at this restaurant; true Italian fair heavily weighted towards meat, bread and dairy. Overall delicious and service was great. Cocktails also excellent with a Negroni cocktail menu (first I've seen in the city). Definitely recommend!

We took our 3 kids here for an early dinner on a weekday so I’m guessing the restaurant was quieter than it normally is. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend it.

Excellence dinner experience. Food was amazing. Wonderful bread, ravioli. Best of all our server was perfect. Wish we could remember his name. He made our anniversary dinner special!!

It was a lovely experience. We went for our anniversary and they treated us so wonderfully. We had a lovely table and the food was delicious!

We love this restaurant. We haven’t been for a while and the menu has changed a bit so everything- except the wonderful burrata starter - was new to us. We really enjoyed our meal. Thank you Fiorino!
