Finestra Restaurant is a Fine Italian Cuisine located on Upper East Side. We are open for indoor dining, outdoor dining, take out and delivery. We feature a full bar and delicious traditional Italian food. Our menu has gluten free, vegetarian and vegan items. We serve the freshest seafood and have specials every day. Every Friday night is Classical Guitar night with Craig Graham, an excellent guitar player. Finestra Restaurant is family-owned and operated.

Our convenient Upper East Side location in New York is close to Sotheby’s, Hospital of Special Surgery, New York Cornell University, Cornell Weil Medical College, Helmsley Medical Tower Hotel and Belaire Guest Facility HSS.

Tables are well spaced and the dining room is relatively quiet. Service and food are always excellent.

Went to Finestra on NYE and had a fantastic time . They have live music and NYE hats for all the tables. Food was outstanding and service was so nice and friendly. Would 10/10 recommend ❤️

Our go to neighborhood Italian with great food and a fairly priced wine list They don’t pack you in so a more relaxed dining experience with super friendly / responsive staff Highly recommend if your on the UES in the 70’s

Had business at a nearby hospital and promised my out-of-town guest a good Italian meal. We were not disappointed!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving feast! We all arrived much earlier (separately) than our reservation but were sat with a smile. The staff was attentive and kind, and the overall feeling of the space was lovely. The food was delicious. I had the carrot ginger soup, the stuffed mushrooms, turkey and pumpkin pie. My Italian uncle decided to order off their usual menu and got the seafood. He said the calamari was perfectly cooked, not at all rubbery which he said often happens when people over cook it. The cappuccino was so refreshing, topped with perfect foam. All in all an absolutely fantastic turkey day. Thank you. We will be sure to dine again.

Great family owned restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, professional service and delicious food. The portions were very generous and reasonable priced for Upper East Side. We will be back

Service was excellent. Very lovely place. My only complaint was the chicken Parmesan was a bit dry; it needed more sauce.
