Located in Midtown Village, Libertine is Derek Davis’s contribution to the Philadelphia food scene and celebrates the history and future of our great city. Chic, sophisticated and playful, the indoor dining and bar area with seasonal outdoor seating running along the entire length of the property at Spruce and 13th Streets. The contemporary American menu is planned seasonally around what is available and freshest at the markets and complimented by scratch specialty concoctions, 20 wines by the glass, and a significant handful of local craft beer. “Good Eating, Drinking and Fine Hospitality” is served every night of the week and brunch on the weekends.

Brunch Menu online does NOT what you see here. Besides solid/good service, I don’t see a reason to come here in a city with plenty of options.

The food arrived relatively quickly, but was delicious! The service was excellent - thank you, John. Just a heads up - their brunch menu has been significantly revamped, so you may want to check their website rather than what's on OT. When I placed the reservation, I had something in mind for when I arrived, but when I got there, they were no longer options.

I recently dined at FIA and had a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share. The highlight of my meal was the crispy red snapper, which was absolutely delicious—truly a chef’s kiss! The dish was expertly prepared, with a perfect balance of flavors that made it a standout. Equally impressive was the customer service, primarily thanks to Josh, who truly wore many hats that evening. He efficiently ran the floor with a warm smile, seamlessly transitioning between hosting, taking orders, serving, and even busing tables—all while managing an entire section on his own. His positive demeanor and attentiveness greatly enhanced the dining experience. While the food was fantastic, it was also Josh's exceptional service and engaging conversation that made me decide to return to FIA in the future. Overall, it was a delightful evening, and I look forward to my next visit!

First time at this restaurant, but I have visited her other locations. The restaurant was very pretty and lively. The colors made us feel like we were in the islands. The music was nice as well. The food was really good. I enjoyed the shrimp appetizers and the empanadas. The drinks were good too. I was stuffed so didn't have a main entree but my daughter had the chicken and waffles and it was a lot of chicken but it was good. My only recommendation is in the winter, find a way to now allow the cold air to come into the restaurant every time the door opens. Either build a entryway or find a thick curtain. Otherwise, can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our Fia experience. The entree choices didn’t appeal to our tastes on that night, but the small bites list had lots of tasty, tempting dishes. I really liked my bourbon based cocktail too. We enjoyed Libertine in this space previously and will go back to Fia soon.
