Felina Summit extends the legacy of Felina Ridgewood and Felina Steak in Jersey City. I think it would have been nice to know if they where doing a price fixed menu . Also meat was so raw hard to eat . We went there for the regular menu . Now I know why it was half empty

Had our Valentine’s Day dinner here. Restaurant ambience is very good….and it goes downhill from here. Water service was immediate. We waited for over 5 minutes for our server to come to our table. They were offering a set menu since it was Valentine’s Day - 3 course menu at 90 per person. Probably the same price offered for set menus by other restaurants. We got an appetizer each, both okay, and had the surf and turf for 2, and the chocolate dessert for 2 as well. The entree was good for one…. On the menu they indicated a 10 oz fillet..and we got what looked like an 8 oz fillet with a small lobster tail. If we had known we would have just ordered one entree each, instead of the shared one. We wanted to try the place as it was new in our town. We were extremely disappointed and would probably not be returning. In the photo you will see the size in comparison to a drinking glass. The long dark stems on the left are green beans.

Great ambiance but we had unfortunate sun glare in our eyes most of the meal as we were seated all the way at the farthest point at the windows. There were plenty of other tables that would’ve been better but the server wasn’t very engaged. I also told him I like my steak medium well but that at many places the waiters will suggest I go with medium if they don’t have a good track record with medium well. He insisted that I just ask for medium well as that’s not a problem but then brought out a burnt to a crisp hockey puck steak. Nothing medium about that. Overall excellent value, great prices, all the rest of the food was fantastic. Would go again

The ambiance is great! Service was fabulous! We ordered the chicken Milanese, which I have had 2x before, this time the chicken was really tough, I was only able to get around the edges. Meatballs app, sauce is ridiculous, but the meatballs we just OK. Wish I ordered the pizza as app. I’ll go back but would only get the pizza.

The food is good but the service leaves much to be desired especially when it comes to getting drinks. First, after we sat down, no one came over for almost 10 minutes to ask what kind of water we wanted or take a drink order. Second, after we ordered drinks, they didn’t even arrive before our appetizers arrived. I had to ask for the woman who delivered the food to go check on the drinks which I saw just sitting up at the bar. The food came out in a well timed manner, they just need more staff at the bar and for the tables. It makes for an unpleasant meal to constantly have to try and find someone to check on your order or place another drink order. Also, not sure why they didn’t do something to make the sound better when they designed the restaurant. It is too loud.

While the room was spectacular to look out, it was clearly designed without customer comfort in mind. The cavernous space has nothing to muffle sounds and thus it's hard to hear your waiter and your table companions. The food was OK, but I have had much better. The branzino, while plated beautifully, felt and tasted greasy. The veal Milanese was enjoyed by my guest. We took our dessert to go as we were quite full. The lemon cake had too much goop on it to render it unappealing. Further, either it was overcooked or old, but it was particularly dry under the goop and overly crusty. The cheesecake was described by my guest as dry. The real problem was with the service. The waiter was inattentive. Our main courses were dumped on our table without removing the various plates left rom the bread and appertizers. As the table was a small two top, it left us to rearrange things to keep our plates within reach. The wine list, looks full but of the first three wines I asked for I was informed that they no longer carry two of them and the third was out of stock, so update your wine lists. It feels like the restaurant is searching for an identity. Is it a pub with pizzas and burgers or a fine dining establishment? Neither was successful.
