Reservations are open for dinner only, lunch is walk ins only.

What’s in the name you ask? We don’t really know, other than the fact that it has a good ring to it.

Nothing really about this place makes much sense. Are we a butcher shop or a restaurant? Are we a butcher shop inside of a restaurant? Or a restaurant inside of a butcher shop?

In our spare time we like to build fires and cook food over wood, you can hire us to do that. We make all of our own charcuterie in house, and we’re determined to get better at that everyday.

How do two concepts operate together in harmony? We don’t really know yet, but we will work at it ‘til it’s seamless. One thing we do know, all of the meat served and sold between these four walls is strictly derived from whole animals butchered in-house, sourced from happy places.

Join us for a night with Beba! Beba is an intimate restaurant in the heart of Verdun, Montreal. Their cuisine is inspired by the Spanish and Italian cultures that settled in Argentina. Beba's menu is based on the best ingredients available throughout the year, anchored in old world cooking techniques and a guiding principle of simplicity. Chef Ari Schor will be taking over Fat Rabbit for one evening only, with a special, pre-set menu.

Everything was amazing from service, atmosphere and literally every single thing we ordered. The sticky toffee pudding was the greatest dessert we have ever had. I'm still thinking about it. A must try!

My wife’s dinner was good. I had the three choice from the menu. The sausage was hot Italian, but was wayyyyyy overly hot and under cooked. The adobe beef was so tough I could not eat it. The last was the pork chop, was nothing but fat and under cooked. I was so excited to ear here, I was truly disappointed with the food. The services and concept is actually awesome .

The food was great, we sat at the pass and got to see all the plates being finished, got to speak with Gareth and have all plates explained to us directly after he finished them. Service was quick, never felt rushed even though we accidentally stayed after close. 10/10 as always at Fat Rabbit

Such an amazing experience. We went for my sister’s fortieth birthday and will definitely be back. Delicious food, great drink selection and such a good vibe. Well done Fat Rabbit, we’ll definitely be back!! 😋😋

great good great service!! we loved everything we had! definitely an expensive meal but worth it! very cool to be able to see the butcher cases! if you sit at the bar you can see the kitchen! very unique place! would recommend!
