   This was our second visit. The first was a Sat nite in early Dec based on a friend's recommendation. We had made a reservations and when we got there the hostess was a fluster explaining the restaurant was closed for private parties that night, and wanted to know who had accepted the reservation (of course I had no clue you answered my phone call). That night we had a drink at the bar while we figured out where we were going to go for dinner. My scotch on the rocks was serve in a plastic cup because they had run out of glasses. When I went to the restroom I overheard women talking about how their office had a Holiday party that night and they had all preordered. The restaurant didn't have enough salad makings to fulfill their order, nor half of the people's main courses. Despite tried it a second time for lunch reservation on Sat. Unfortunately they only had the Brunch buffet for $35 - pathetic selection of items. I'll wait at least 6 mo to try them again, if they are still open

   I've had a few good experiences here in the past but today, service was extremely off. They had a large group of 20 that we're seated before us so I understand if the kitchen is backed up. However, it nearly took an hour before we received our entrees which is unacceptable. Once my food arrived, it was luke warm at best. To top it off, I had a glass broken near me by one of the staff and soaked my arm with water. I was extremely disappointed and will likely not return as a result. However, our server was great and very apologetic.

   Went for company holiday party. They were accommodating and friendly. However, they were out of many of the items we ordered and we had to substitute.

   Online there were few reservations and when we got there only ten people in the restaurant. What you see on the internet menu is what the have-very few dishes and not steak. We had one sandwich, bacon and eggs with a drink, one breakfast dish and one beer the bill was $100.00 expensive -nice, overlooking the water-lots of windows. I would not recommend it unless you like little choice of food and EXPENSIVE go have a drink and look out of the water.

   Love the place. Very nice decor and great waterfront. We had a large group for a birthday event. Food was delicious. The only suggestion is that communication regarding food and drink orders needs to be more solid. We had some food that did not make it and extra food that was not ordered. But we didn't mind because we would either take the extra and just have them charge it or remove the items that did not make it to the table. I was surprised that there were no more salmon which was not communicated to us in time. One our my friend end up waiting too long and got a different meal. But they were kind enough to comp it. Despite the small issue, I would come back again. Maybe the big group just overwhelmed all the servers.

   We recently went to Eve's Waterfront Restaurant for a family birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. Upon request we were seated at a roomy roundtable in a cozy corner surrounded by windows with a gorgeous view of the Jack London waterfront. The hostess, manager, our server and all the staff were so graciously accommodating. The restaurant decor and ambiance was very pleasant. Although the menu looked a bit limited at first glance, there were actually a lot of options for different tastes and plenty of choices for cocktails, beer and wine. All the food and drink we ordered were excellent -- prepared perfectly, beautifully presented and very delicious. The manager was even kind enough to comp the birthday dessert -- what a nice surprise! Looks like we have found another new favorite restaurant and look forward to the next time we can dine there again.

    Almost everything about this place was horrible. They won't be in business long. Avoid this place like the plague.
