We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner at the St. James Hotel. The food was very good and plentiful, the seating was very nice. The only thing that was lacking in my opinion was the wait staff--this was almost nonexistent. We were greeted when we sat down and our drink order was taken and delivered. However, when we needed our water glasses refilled, we had to find someone to help us. In addition, we never saw or was offered coffee during/after our dinner. I realize it must be tough finding wait staff on Thanksgiving Day. Everything else was very nice and we would do this again.

The masquerade dinner & dance was really fun. We enjoyed seeing the wide variety of outfits & the food was excellent. The serving staff was great - very professional. We especially enjoyed the band, Everyday People. We really didn't know what to expect when we arrived. It would have been nice if the invitation had given a tiny bit of guidance regarding dress. Also, it was unclear exactly where in the hotel the event was to be held. We managed to figure these things out, but it would have been less stressful if we had known upfront.
