The team behind DTSJ favorites - Paper Plane, MINIBOSS, Still O.G. and Alter Ego - elevates the local scene once again with Eos & Nyx, a dual level indoor/outdoor dining experience serving Mediterranean flavors with modern twists.
Drawing inspiration from the Greek deities of dawn and night, this venue provides a culinary journey that transforms as the day unfolds. Guests will savor an array of mezzes, indulgent brunch offerings and grilled seafood and meats, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The bar program features inventive craft cocktails, wines and spirits, showcased against a striking double-height, rotating liquor display that spans both levels of the restaurant. Well run staff and kitchen. Seating was prompt with reservations. Food was served quickly and most importantly the dishes are very tasty. Nice date spot brunch or dinner.

Finally a restaurant in downtown San Jose worth writing home about! Hip ambience with excellent creative cocktails, interesting wine list, and very good food. Main entrees presentation was a little underwhelming, but this is just constructive criticism for continued improvements. Hope you keep it up!

You have to book in advance for a larger group of 6 or 8 people and the only time slot we got was 5p that is three weeks prior to the reservation on a Thursday night. It’s a beautiful welcoming space inside with a nice and lively bar. The food is for sharing and a La carte style: we did 3-4 appetizers and 3-4 main courses for 6 people and it was plenty as they give you a welcome appetizer of steak tartare in mini cones, a delicious tamarind lemony palette cleanser before your mains and a chocolate mousse canapé per person all on the house . For appetizers we ordered - The Everything carrots, grilled octopus, Ep trio pita, tagline prawns and for the mains - their half chicken which was delicious,, Daurade En Papillote- their whole fish- and lamb chops were all great and flavorful: we also ordered the sides of Brussels and cauliflower.. Overall a good dining experience except we felt a little rushed as they kept removing plates quickly to bring out the next dish. Ii think if they spaced out the food a bit and let you sit back and enjoy your meal with friends it would be a nicer experience. I will definitely come back if I’m in downtown San Jose.

Wonderful experience at this new restaurant in downtown San Jose. The brunch, my Bloody Mary and ambiance were all exceptional..But the best thing was how friendly and attentive the staff were! They elevated the meal just by being so nice. We will be back for dinner!

Sat at the bar for brunch. All the bartenders were very attentive and super nice. Especially Steven. Shout out Steven 💯. Food came out quick after ordering and was delicious. We ordered the eggs benny and the polenta. Both delicious. The only thing I will say is that I wish the eggs Benny had more sauce. But maybe a saucy Benedict is just my preference. I will be coming back for brunch 100%

Place is very nice inside and inviting. The food really really needs work. Have you even tasted the food compared to high end restaurants? Service was great but due to the lack of taste and portion sizes I wouldn’t come back. High prices for food with no taste.

Heard about this restaurant via social media. Tried to get reservations but it was always booked. First-the restaurant was really nicely decorated. Service was really good! We were told about specials and provided recommendations and checked on often. The drinks were innovative and good. We tried one of the drinks that was similar to a peanut butter jelly drink. Sounds strange but it was good! Since this place was new we really wanted to try different things on the menu. Overall the food was just okay. Nothing stood out and even something as basic as bruschetta was such a let down. In summary, good vibes and service. Food was just meh especially for the price. If you’re in the downtown area and looking for innovative drinks in a nice restaurant then this is your place.
