Enoteca Boccaccio is an award winning restaurant from the legendary D'Anna family. Situated above Boccaccio Continental Supermarket, it is a destination for some of Melbournes best cheese, salumi, and an Italian/European menu from hatted head chef Andrew Beddoes.

The wine list is a dynamic and ever evolving selection of our favourite wines from local and international producers. It is curated by our team to best reflect the vintages and compliment the menu offering. We offer BYO Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night dinner service and Friday/Saturday lunch service with $20 corkage per bottle.

Who is coming to Rome with us? We love Rome and especially Roscioli. Whenever we get the chance to head back to Roma, Roscoli is the first restaurant we book. It is classic Roman food with a twist. As part of MFWF the team at Enoteca Boccaccio will transport you back to Rome with our take on classic Roman food with our ‘EB twist’. Please note drinks are not included. Our full wine list will be available or feel free to BYO at $20 per bottle.

One of the best dining and wine experiences I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Every dish was amazing. Wine list to die for with very logical and reasonable pricing.

We took advantage of their BYO policy and brought along some top Italian wines. Many other diners had brought excellent wines in, too. The menu had many tempting items so the 5 of us shared many dishes, both small and large. We must have tried 10 different menu items, and each one was delicious. Great food to match our great wines. Service was very, very good. We had a wonderful dining experience. We will return.

The food was great, the staff very helpful. Great wine, we could talk without issues with background noise. We'll be back.

It was our first time at Enoteca Boccaccio and we had a wonderful evening. The front end host and wait staff were attentive and very friendly. The food was delicous and the kitchen very helpful in catering for a fussy basic eater, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was very clean and well presented for such a small space. Noise levels were very lively at times but a good indication customers are enjoying their food and their surroundings. We couldn't fault the evening, even when I rang to say we had been delayed I was told not to stress, our table would be held and we wouldn't be rushed out the door. Why not a 5 star rating - well everyone has room for improvement and perhaps in this instance it was the presentation of dessert, no big deal and certainly no reason for not wanting to go back soon.

Great quality food. Great wine list with a good selection of Italian and French wines. Seafood pasta was super tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly. An occasion restaurant where food and wine won’t disappoint.

The food was superb. In particular the octopus was a highlight. Bruschetta like we’ve never had before, and the fish of the day was beautifully fresh and served with style. The service was efficient and unobtrusive. Overall a great experience and we will return.
