Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Slatter, features a globally sourced list of over 70 selections with a strong focus on wineries practicing organic and natural production across the Mediterranean, including ancient grape varieties from Greece, Lebanon and Italy.

Service was very attentive and relaxed. Always felt cared for in every way. Food was so flavorful, every bite was delicious. Ema’s is now our favorite restaurant. We are moving soon, please open one near Naples, Florida!

The food, service, Sam V was our outstanding server, and overall ambiance were all fantastic. We are so happy to have this new dinning option on the NorthShore. This was our first time at EMA celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary with friends and we definitely will be back again

Fantastic lunch spot in a beautiful setting. The small plates are perfect for sharing and for allowing us to be introduced to so many new and unexpected taste combinations.

Nice place with a good design. The drinks were well-made, and the food was tasty, especially the appetizers. Worth visiting if you’re in the area.

- Waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. I complained that this was a bad start to a special occasion dinner; they comped our appetizer for the trouble. - Ordered same wine twice, got two different wines. - Ordered vegetable plates and meat plates as main course. Vegetables were brought out first, so waited, and waited, and waited for the meat plates, hoping to eat them together, but it took another 15-20 minutes for the meat plates to come out, by which time the vegetables were cold. - very noisy, not relaxing. This is new construction, how did they get the acoustics so wrong?! - water had bad taste of chlorine, couldn’t drink. Noticed tables around us all asked for lemon wedges to put in water. Overall this was a disappointing experience, considering how hard it is to get a reservation at this restaurant, and their prices. Will not be going back.
