Love this place! I’ve come here 2 times and have had Matt serve me. He’s awesome and always checked up on me, making sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. Food is amazing, definitely recommend the Shrimp Scampi and Goat cheese pizza for apps. Dinner I loved the Pork Chop, but I also really liked the chicken rigatoni/red sauce. Definitely recommend coming here for a date night or more of a friend meet as well. The ambience is perfect, it’s not too bright but the decor is very comforting too.

We were a table of 8. Our server was Nico. As a table of 8, automatic 20% gratuity was included. Since the gratuity was included, we received subpar service. Only one of us enjoyed our meal. There were multiple parties as large as us, and they were receiving good service while our server was nowhere to be found. As an Italian restaurant, you would expect good marinara. Two of us ordered a side of spaghetti and marinara as our meal and it was not good at all. The pasta was fresh, but the sauce was sour. As a group of servers and bartenders, an $18 coffee drink with amaretto and coffee itself was priced horribly. Two of our group split a chicken parm and both agreed that it was not good at all. We never informed a manager of our experience due to the fact that we just wanted to leave. The arugula salad was good, and drinks were strong. We all concluded that for the price of the meal, it was definitely not worth it and would’ve enjoyed a better meal on broadway with paying all of the additional taxes and company.

Meh. We were really excited for Italian food. I’ve followed Christian’s professional career for a while and I couldn’t wait to visit his Nashville place. Unfortunately it left little to be desired. The mozzarella sticks were subpar and the “8hour sauce” tasted like it was cooked within the hour. The vodka pasta tasted like I could have made the exact same thing in my kitchen quickly with little effort. Just not at all the flavors or experience I was expecting. Service was great though. Won’t be returning.

The chicken parm was really good. The Caesar salad was off-putting. It was so overflowing that there was no way to eat it without pieces of the salad and grated Parmesan getting all over the table. Aside from that it seemed really underdressed. I kind of felt that both I and the restaurant lost a little on that one. Me on the price and experience of messy work to pretty much taste lettuce. The restaurant lost on unoptimized food cost. Maybe the same quantity of dressing on half the lettuce would have been tastier. Service was attentive and friendly.

Ella’s is one of our “go-to’s” when attending events in downtown Nashville. Always the best service and food. Can almost always get a reservation. Perfect location if you’re going to the Schermerhorn.

They were out of arugula when we were there so I had what tasted like an iceberg lettuce salad instead and a deep fried and over cooked chicken cutlet

Wouldn't go back. Menu is small, the place is misrepresented on the pictures as being 'stand alone', this is basically just a hotel bar they rebranded right off the lobby. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I like or care about. Food was pretty garbage, salty as hell, and I've never actually said that before. Service was sub-par, environment was noisy and lacks privacy. Definitely don't take a date here, you'll embarrass yourself.

We went for brunch, hoping to have an amazing experience with the restaurant being a celebrity chef restaurant. I was extremely disappointed as the food was subpar. The bacon was hard and dried out and my eggs were overcooked. I wasn’t eating the egg yolk anyway I decided not to send them back and just eat the whites. But overall, very disappointed. I had high expectations. One thing to know our server was very sweet and did a good job.
