Elevator has been open at 161 North High Street for over twenty years but did you know that the building has played host to great food and cold drinks since it was finished in 1897? Today, we uphold the history and craftsmanship of the space reflected in our fresh, seasonal menu and our expansive beverage program, which includes not only beers brewed on-site but in house made draft cocktails and sodas.

We got last minute reservations for dinner before heading to Nationwide Arena for a DMB concert. Our server was knowledgeable and the food excellent. It was VERY VERY loud as we were seated at a table directly by the bar and a football game was playing so lots of cheering (and disgust) from that, on top of loud talking around us. There are some other things on the menu we want to come back for but are worried we’d experience the same noise and inability to actually converse with each other.

Our table of 9 became a table of 14 when we merged reservations with friends. The restaurant was very accommodating, and our server rolled with it and was a lot of fun. The drinks were great, food was great, and the service was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Very eclectic inside. Great menu selections. Our meals were delicious. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Will definitely dine there again when visiting Columbus.

Took our 14 yr old granddaughter because we wanted her to experience cooking her own meat. She loved it! Food and service was great!

The food was delicious. I fell I love with the almond crusted chicken salad. The ginger beer was wonderful. Our server was fantastic. He was friendly, professional, prompt and attentive to our whole group. We had a small celebration, and we made the right decision to come to the Elevator. I know I will be coming back soon.
