Had a lovely meal, ordered starter I'd never tasted before and it was too spicy for me I couldn't eat it, I was offered alternatives but I didn't accept mainly because it was my choice of starter there was nothing wrong with it, it was however taken off the bill, was a lovely gesture, thank you

Service staff very rude, no welcoming , throw the menu at corner of table , table cleaning cloth and at the left giving seat to sit, Food salmon was excellent , Nobody come back to ask, our main meal was finished long time no one has come back to collect the plate asking for dessert menu , I know it’s busy time , waiters were busy drying the cutlery’s , but not coming to customers, Twice my husband have to call them during our meal, When asked for dessert menu waiters answer was closing soon, it was 9 pm , wasn’t good attitude , showing very busy , only few people were there, You need to teach the staff how to welcoming , not a single second that waiter had time to speak , just keep drying the cutlery’s, We tell you on valentine day we got treatment like this from staff ,ever never forget , we won’t come back again , Please teach staff How to serve customers, Thank you Bray resident

Food was good. We waited a long time for someone to take our order and when he came over, he asked the tow of tables, ‘who is ready to order?’. The tables are too close together, I could hear the conversations of the tables beside us, and very aware they could hear us.

Really lovely food and great portion sizes! Love the booths. Staff very friendly and helpful! Suitable for kids as they have crayons and kids menus to colour! Highly recommend! Lovely setting! Even loved the toilet decor and so nice and clean!

We went as a party of three after viewing the menu online and the Passionfruit Martini, Home Made Ginger Beer and Fish Tacos were the reason we chose it. Sadly they had no passion fruit puree of home made ginger beer as apparently run out over the Christmas period. This was a big disappointment to be truthful. Also I had requested an easy access table near the door and in fact, though the restaurant was very empty at 6pm we were seated at the window seat one table over from the door while the one nearer the door was empty. Shortly after despite the fact there were many areas of the restaurant with no tables occupied, they then seated a family with two or maybe three small children next to us ...... and then some young, able bodied people at the table which was nearer the door. So the seating was far from ideal as the noise level of at times shrieking children was a bit hard to hear over or enjoy our meal. Other than the seating the service was friendly and good though we were disappointed to be told that though our three meals all came with fries, that we could not upgrade one to "loaded chilli and hot sauce fries" - of course we would have been willing to pay extra but did not want to over a forth portion of fries for nearly 8 euros when we knew we would not be able to eat them all. There were small flies like midges buzzing round and they kept going into my husband's wine and had to cover it with a plate after the original wine was kindly replaced as had about three of them in it. The fish tacos were the highlight of the meal and tasted just as good as the ones we enjoy in Mexico - which was a lovely surprise as we did not expect them to be so excellent. My husband would have loved the option of corn tortillas with them but flour was great for me. The Fish burger was also very tasty as were the fries but my husband did not care for the Tulum Burger. The veggie burger was a huge disappointment as tasted a bit like Burgerking's spicy Beanburger and was very peppery

We also apologize for seating arrangement not meeting your request , especially with quieter options available. Your feedback on noise level, the midges, and the inability to upgrade the fries is valuable, and we will review these points with our team. The Bray Elephant & Castle is great,the famous wings are amazing as always and the chicken nachos are delicious. A very handy location too.

Well I popped in on my own and what can I say ! The most beautiful waitress in every way made sure I had such a lovely time ! Her name was Yael and it was so nice to see how kind and decent she was, the food was delicious, the establishment was so bright and you almost feel you’re outside ! The wine was delicious too. All topped off with many laughs with Andre, cannot recommend elephant and castle Bray enough! So very well done to all

Inexperienced floor staff and non existent mgt. I was a waiter and kp when I was younger and felt sorry for them as they clearly had no leadership or training. Same price as Datta. No comparison.
