Really good pub food at the Elephant & Castle. Family had a wonderful time and the kids menu was really good value with good portion sizes for 10 year olds. Quiet on a Tuesday as expected, but that only meant the food came quicker which was nice, I was spoilt for choice with excellent pies, but went for the beef short rib which was excellent. Everyone was happy and would happily return.

Elephant & Castle met all of our expectations! Perfect spot for a family with a variety of diet needs/wants! Proper service, accommodating staff, so happy we chose this doit for our last dining experience in Ireland! Will definitely try it stateside too!

This pub is at the end of Old Amersham, the lady at the bar was friendly & welcoming. There was plenty of choice for seating & when the sun arrives a nice pub garden. The food (we had a chicken sandwich) was ok, I thought I ordered chicken without breadcrumbs, it came with (there were two versions), I didn’t query this.

Lovely old fashioned pub, very warm greeting when we arrived. Arrived early but easily accommodated. Sat at a lovely table outside. Great lunch menu. Ordered the quinoa salad and it was lovely ! Companion had the linguini which was also great !

A very quiet Monday evening at least until the pub quiz started. Food and service were average at best, disappointing.

The food was okay, but the service could have been improved. We sat with empty plates for a while in between courses, but the staff were friendly.
