My first time dining was quite a pleasant experience. There were minor issues with wine service, which BTW quite surprisingly was without charging any corkage fee. My Wagyu steak could be better with less salt considering the fact that its tasty chimichurri sauce also had an ample amount of salt, but I am very happy that eventually El Dorado Hills got a restaurant that is up to parity with the first rate restaurants in the Northern California. I hope that they can fine tune and improve their game. This establishment definitely has the potential to become a staple in the Sac metro area.

Gorgeous restaurant and delicious food! First time dining and it was phenomenal! From the atmosphere to the service to the food, I give it 5 stars. And the cocktails are so much fun too! I wanted the pork chop but they were sold out so I had the halibut with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce so yummy. My husband had the filet and lobster tail which he loved. We split a Caesar salad which was definitely shareable and you have to get their Parker house rolls! Looking forward to going back!

Really wanted to love this place but couldn’t quite get there. Table wasn’t ready at reservation time, they were sold out of pork chops and the only vegetarian appetizer (a dinner roll), took over an hour to get our food, and our last round of drinks finally came after our meal was finished, despite being ordered before our food was brought. Our server was awesome, but at $250 plus for 2 people, I expected better over all service. Restaurant is also very loud. The good: new, they want to be successful, and close by. The food is good but a tad shy of excellent. Will go back and try it again since it’s close and “EDH good”, but if it were in LA or OC, not sure I would. Worth checking out at least once - lot of people seem to like it - so maybe our experience wasn’t typical.

We had a reservation for 7:15 but they were very busy (which is great!) and not seated until almost 7:45. Our table was in a very awkward location against a wall, by a kitchen door with strange lighting that hit me right in the eyes. It looked pretty, but it was not a great place to sit. The food was solid (the Brussels Sprouts were amazing). Filet was cooked perfectly and the cowboy butter was great. Pappardelle was under-seasoned and there was no salt/pepper on the table. Our server seemed harried and not to be enjoying herself. (She also had a large private party). Considering they just opened, I think it’s going to be a great addition to the EDH dining scene. A few kinks to work out, but will definitely try again!

The good: Appetizers were excellent, dessert was very good, great ambiance, beautiful restaurant. The not so good: Timing between appetizers and main course…there was at least a 30-40 minute gap in this time which was far too long. We ordered 4 medium rare steaks, which don’t take 30 minutes to cook…which brings me to the next not so good, the steaks were all over done, closer to medium, medium well. They are new so I am sure some of these kinks will get worked out but the pace of dinner and timing between courses needs improvement and nailing the steak temperature is absolutely critical for any steakhouse or chophouse

Amazing food and service 10/10. From the moment we walked in we fell in love with this place. Amazing stuff very polite, caring , respectful. The food presentation and beverages is so good . Definitely would come here again!

Everything was great. The only issue I had was the portion size of the kids noodles. It was comically small. We had to order another portion and it still wasn’t remotely close to a proper portion size.

It was very good. Service and food quality were excellent. The dining room was full, and the vibe is energetic. That said, the room is very loud, so casual conversation is difficult, especially for anyone with hearing challenges. A few observations, based on personal preference…the Caesar sald is presented with full-leaf romaine leaves. If you prefer it chopped (as I do), be sure to ask. The wedge salad is made with butter lettuce, not the traditional iceberg. I ordered a steak, which comes with a side. The steak came on a large plate with nothing else, not visually very appealing, and the side was in a separate bowl. It would be better to combine the two on one plate. The butter cake is a definite must-try, at least one order for the table to experience. I’m hoping that the kinks will get ironed out. I will wait awhile to return, ELDO has the potential to be an EDH mainstay.

We loved Eldo Chop House! Beautiful, upscale, great food and service. The menu has a great feel, enough choices but not so many to make it difficult. We tried the Miso Cod, Halibut and Risotto dishes - all with rave reviews. Started with the bright wedge salad and ended with the Butter cake dessert! Good cocktails and very attentive, friendly service. All around a great experience and we look forward to going back soon!
