En general está rico, es una fusión local con español. Extraño cobro del 3% de Health & Wellness que debería ser pagado por el restaurante no por los clientes. Con subir $0.50 cada platillo sacan dicho cobro sin abusar.

Can’t go wrong with the duck paella, or Brussels sprouts. We had a good time, we will go back.

Top to bottom, upon entering the restaurant to leaving we had a wonderful evening. Food and service were at the highest levels.

Great place. Server knowledgeable and helpful. It was our first time and we took our server’s Recs. The shrimp was fantastic! All the food was very good and we can’t wait to come back!

Our server was great. Fully explained the dishes we were considering and thankful he suggested that we order another dish due to the portion sizes. The shrimp had wonderful flavor. The grilled octopus with chickpeas was more like chickpeas with octopus. Though the octopus was nicely grilled and tender there was not even 4 bites of it and waaay too much chickpeas on the plate. The slow cooked ribs were outstanding and complimented the vegetable paella. The patatas were nice and crispy and a generous serving. We are quite familiar with tapas having dined in Barcelona and other cities outside of the US, we did feel the portions at El Raval were not in par with the pricing. We actual left hungry. The most disappointing was that we felt rushed by those bringing and removing the individual plates. We felt a sense of urgency to eat. Also, the waiter spoke highly of the sommelier but the red wine chosen for the "Wild Card" that night (it's a surprise me kind of ordering) was down right undrinkable and my husband had to send it back for a cab sav on the menu.

Fantastic food and service. We sat outside and ordered 6 different shareables: olives, potatoes, calamari, braised cabbage, meatballs, and Brussels sprouts! All was delicious! The cocktails are on point as well!!! The only minor adjustment I would recommend is when the server comes to the table to check out, it was unnecessary to announce the total to the table…I was taking a date out and that info did not need to be spoken. But overall very pleasurable dining experience and we will return!

While the ambiance was dark, romantic, but pretty loud. The plus is you could probably talk about anything without anyone else hearing it. Service was a bit slow, had to ask someone for water, the check, etc. Food (especially the paella and patatas bravas) was all very good and reasonably priced.
