This Valentine's Day, enjoy a special moment at Corralito Steakhouse! We have prepared a special four course menu designed for sharing. Starting with our Classic Carioca cheese to share, heart shaped, served with onions and cilantro, following a salad of your choice. (Ceasar or House). For the main course we will have a 10 oz boneless New York cut, served in a red wine reduction with sautéed mushrooms and asparagus. Our valentines date was the best with Martin, the manager directing the courteous staff, and our host Alfredo, who took care of all of our requests. Next time you have a special event reserve at Corralitos on Doniphan.

The steaks were great. The service was less than previously experienced. Our server would disappear for extended periods and had to be asked to refill water and tea glasses. She wasn't very attentive. She either needs more training or look for another job.

I had to wait 25 minutes to be seated for my reservation. I eventually went up to the front desk and asked when I was going to be seated for my reservation..I was very upset. But I had a great waiter that ended my night great!

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and hard-working. The food was delicious. Although I would say the lighting was a little bright. For me a more dimmed lighting is more relaxing

I booked a table for my son and I a month in advance for a Christmas dinner. He is in town for work and I travelled to El Paso so he wasn’t alone for the holiday. We had had such a great visit, all positive experiences everywhere we dined for 5 days. Until El Corralito. The high 5s go to the food. We ordered their house steaks and baked potatoes. The steaks were superb. Although the baked potatoes came with the option to choose what you wanted, and it did not taste fresh. No worries. We cane for the steak. No worries. We arrived on time and still had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated. I get it. It is a holiday. But when we were finally taken to our seats, there were 8-10 empty tables. It struck me they must be short staffed and not filling the restaurant. No problem …. And then … When our server FINALLY came to our table, I said ‘thank you so much for working on Christmas.’ His response was far from a positive response when customers are there to celebrate the season. “Well, it’s not like I have a choice!. ( I was recently laid off after 30+ years. So ‘not having a choice’ hits different. Hard to believe, but it only got worse. He brought out our appetizer, with a fork on the plate. It was only then we realized we had no silverware or napkins. We had to wait several minutes to make eye contact to get his attention. Then I said first could we get some napkins. I was beside myself when he picked up a stack of cocktail napkins on the table and almost slammed them back down. I went on to clarify ‘dinner’ napkins a d silverware. He stepped over to one of the many empty tables, and brought them to us. You get the idea. Asking for boxes and then a bag for the boxes was an ordeal. All I expected for the holiday dinner with my son was a happy and positive experience. That the service would match the level of service. Instead, while my little family enjoyed a good meal, we could not feel it was overshadowed by the disgruntled staff with 0 holiday spirit.

Shrimp Ceviches was very tasty. Steaks were good especially the arrachera. It was very tender.

The place was not busy at all but service was terrible. Our server said she was covering two sections and the kitchen was slow. One of our two salads arrived with the wrong dressing after a long wait. The one Corralitos Soup that was ordered arrived after the salads were finished. The steaks took forever. Two of the three steaks were sent back, the medium Arrachera Steak was rare at best, the tenderloin that was ordered well done was medium rare. The sirloin was cooked just right. The sirloin and the tenderloin were very fatty and not up to the standards of previous visits. The corn on the cob was overcooked and mushy, when it returned after I sent the steak back it was cold and mushy. The lobster tail that came with the tenderloin had been frozen and thawed a couple times because the meat was flaky not firm or it was something else. Will not be returning.
