El Che Bar, que ocupa el antiguo edificio de Checker Taxi, es un animado restaurante argentino-americano dirigido por el chef John Manion, cuya cocina se ha visto influida por sus viajes por todo el país. El restaurante, que goza de una ubicación ideal, recuerda los ritmos de Buenos Aires con un toque local. Además, el restaurante es acogedor y presenta sutiles guiños a Sudamérica. Tiene una barra elegante de mármol negro, en contraste con la zona de cocina a la vista, Al Asador, espacio donde Manion elabora platos cocinados con leña. Las verduras locales, las carnes a la parrilla y el marisco se preparan en las parrillas y en las chapas, en la chimenea. Asimismo, las bebidas de la carta se inspiran en el Spirits of the Americas. También se preparan cocteles.

Chef John Manion grew up for a few years in Brazil and got into asado grilling while traveling in Argentina. Come prepared to feast on seafood platters with charred lobster tails and the party steak, a 42-ounce wagyu flap with red and green chimichurri. Those in the know also appreciate the wine list, which exclusively showcases South American makers and won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

Excelente atención y la comida riquísima. Lo único negativo es que adentro había mucho ruido, demasiado. Cambiamos por una mesa de afuera y estuvo excelente. Muy recomendable

The staff was great and the food was phenomenal and the ambiance was great the rib eye and surf and turf was tender and tasteful. I seen a lot of negative review about the food but I beg the differ don’t believe everything u read. I definitely will be back soon we was satisfied

Very nice restaurant. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The food was very good and The environment was very intimate. Overall we had a great time here!

Incredible steaks - but you will pay for the privilege of eating some of the finest beef you have tasted. Wine list limited to South American wines for the most part. Appetizers and the polenta side are highly recommended.
