   Really good tapas restaurant - loved the atmosphere and beautiful setting over the river. Hard to get good tapas in the UK but this was surprisingly good - all dishes really tasty and good value for money - also a kids menu which was great for our 2 year old! Will definitely be back again and they also have live music some Fridays which is a bonus!

   From the moment we entered, the service was fantastic (specially Luke). Very patient and good at explaining dishes etc. the food can out with no hurry and we were able to enjoy the dishes without having to move on to next one. Special touch as they realised it was my wife’s birthday and they presented her with a tarta de Santiago with a candle (it’s all in the details). Even when leaving the restaurant they remembered names and this made us feel like we were not just another number to them. Couldn’t recommend enough.

   First time visitors and definitely be back again - I'm sure it is fantastic in the summer with the patio area open. Service was very good, knowledgeable staff and very obliging. We arrived just as the evening special offer was closing but the manager was very good at honoring it. There were 4 of us and we pretty much sampled 1 item from the whole menu. Food was excellent, very tasty with the portions sizes ample for the four of us. We left filled and would recommend

   First time here after a year of saying we would come! Could not recommend enough. Amazing cocktails and amazing food. Service was top notch. The chef came out to greek us and asl if we'd had a great time. Music was great and created a great atmosphere. Will be back!!

   Maybe because of the St Valentine’s meal offer, the experience was a bit disappointing this time. We had to wait 50 minutes to get seated, and the place was too crowded to enjoy. Ok, the staff was polite, the food very good. They let us finish our meal during closing time without interruption, so we will visit again. But never when they have an offer, that was a bad idea of the restaurant. They would have been full anyway, what was the point in that…

   Hi Vassilis, Thank you for visiting us to celebrate Valentine's Day. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our Spanish food, and that you were looked after by our staff. We are, however, sorry to hear about your wait to be seated. This is not our usual service, as we were extremely busy, under-staffed and without our Area Manager for the weekend. Your comments have been taken on board, and we will be working with the rest of the team to improve going forwards.    I’m afraid of Valentine’s night was a flop for us. We arrived and had to wait 10 minutes to be greeted. Once at our table we were left for around 30 minutes until someone took our drinks order which never arrived. We waited for 45 minutes with no food or drink, the staff were quite obviously busy but there were no smiles at all from them. It was a disappointment. We decided to leave as we knew we weren’t going to be eating until very late. The couple next to us had only just had their starter delivered and they had been there for one hour longer than us. We went to another local restaurant, were greeted straight away and our drinks were given to us pretty much straight away. We ordered and our food came within a very good amount of time (by this time it was around 9:30pm). More motivated staff needed, and more staff training. Maybe they took on too many covers. NB. I had to guess re review of food as we didn’t eat.

   Hi A, We are terribly sorry to hear about the poor service you received on Valentine’s night. Our director has already spoken with you and has assured you that this is not our usual service. Our staff receive frequently excellent reviews on their professionalism, and they are normally very happy, friendly and smiling. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we were extremely busy, short staffed and without our Area Manager. As discussed with our director, our Area Manager is going to call you directly upon his return from annual leave.     We had a lovely evening with excellent food and service. If there is one criticism the portions are very small even by tapas standards and the prices were more like central London than Bourne end.
