Eigikutei is a Japanese cuisine, sushi, and Shabu Shabu Kaiseki restaurant in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. We have a bar and offer high-end Japanese sake.
Eigikutei serves Japanese Kaiseki cuisine courses. Each Kaiseki course expresses the traditional Japanese culture and simple but deep tastes that Japan has grown from time immemorial. We hope all of our guests can enjoy our Kaiseki cuisine with Japanese cultural experiences.

Great service and good foods. The sushi chef explained the recipes of every single dish and showed us pictures of fish he served at sushi bar. Lovely experience

We were excited for dinner after reading reviews. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. We thought the restaurant would be more attractive inside. The small dishes were delicious but Shabu shabu was disappointing. Our pot heat was not appropriately turned up so our food woukd not cook properly. We did not know the right setting. Someone should have helped us. Crab did not taste fresh. We should have been given more vegetables. The porridge was tasty but the dessert was awful. Overall, it was way too expensive for the experience. We cannot recommend this restaurant due to poor value.

Gracious service is a lost art. Paired with food of impeccable quality and creativity, in a gorgeous setting - a rare treat. We had the omakase sushi as a late lunch and found the selections varied and plentiful and delicious. I will definitely return!

Excellent kaiseki meal at reasonable prices. We took our friend, who loves Japanese food and is very knowledgeable, to Eigikutei and he was pleased and impressed. Thanks to the quietness of the restaurant we were able to have a great conversation and a leisurely, delicious dinner. We are definitely going back.
