An upmarket neighbourhood bistro serving locally focused dishes. We are a bustling one-room restaurant with a comfy bar. Seasonal menus include P.E.I. Blue Dot rib eye steaks, local seafood, and seasonal veg.

Open for lunch service Tuesday-Friday 1130-230
Open for Supper service Tuesday-Sunday 5-10pm
Open for Brunch service Sunday 10-2 pm

We keep bar seating open for walk-ins each night so feel free to pop in.

Reservations recommended, walk-ins welcome but not guaranteed.

***Please note when picking a reservation time that our licence requires minors (even sweet tiny little babies) to be out of the restaurant by 10pm, sorry for the inconvenience.

Dining here was wonderful! I have heard so many wonderful things about Edna, and I was excited to visit with friends. The appetizers we had were all richly flavoured, and combined with the bread that is baked next door at LF bakery, I was super excited, especially about the Yellowfin tuna, and the Beef tartare. Overall, I would recommend this spot to many, but I will have to admit that for the price, there were some dishes that did not quite hit the mark. Specifically, the beef stroganoff was slightly bland? It did not taste like much, either of the herbs described in the menu, nor the beef. For the price of $34, I expected a richer and fuller flavour, but found myself being confused between the larger pieces of mushrooms and the pieces of shredded beef, neither of which had the umami flavour I was hoping for/expecting. Although the dill did add a very lovely touch, it was the only thing I could taste in the entire dish. I will absolutely have to add that the desserts are one hundred percent worth going to try. Everything about this meal was wonderful, except for the value of the specific entrees we had. Nevertheless, lovely spot.

EDNA ! WHAT HAPPENED ?? We dined here in 2019 and 2020 and it was great . WHAT HAPPENED ? The 3$ amuse bouche was served stone cold from the fridge and things went downhill from there . Appetizer Sprouts suffocated by cheese and drowning in oil . The Artic Char dish looked like it had been thrown on the plate and so over cooked it could have been a shoe sole . Some kind of a runny sauce .. undefinable . Garnishes were complicated and unappealing to the eye. Lobster amounted to shavings of lobster meat . Service was okay .. servers knowledge was questionable .. they seemed to rush the meal amuse bouche , appetizer and main in ONE HOUR ? What ? We opted out of the dessert being what we saw in the prior plates .. no thanks .. If you are looking for a gastronomy experience pass EDNA by .. it was fabulous in prior years but helas something happened .. EDNA WHAT HAPPENED ?

My guest and I ordered alcoholic drinks. They arrived after the meal. The server was rushing us to finish up and not being at all subtle about it, Our plates and serviettes were taken away before we were done with them. A group of young women were in the periphery of our table, loud, boisterous and already inebriated. It was clear we, two women not as young, were being ousted to accommodate this incoming crowd who would be spending money at the restaurant. We were told we could go to the bar. We did not wish to spend anymore at the establishment and waited quietly at the front door until our safe ride was available. I live around the corner of Edna. I have frequented the restaurant with friends and family several times. I will not return. (Oh and the beef stroganoff I ate three dinners ago, had no flavour)

Ednas never disappoints! The food is ALWAYS amazing, service is delightful and the venue is superb. This is my go to brunch and it has been for years! You will never be disappointed but make a reservation, they are very popular!

My pregnant wife and I went to EDNA with two other couples for an evening out. The food was so good, that immediately following the meal, my wife started her labour. After paying the bill, she thought it might be best to go to the IWK as she had started feeling contractions. By the time we got there, the hospital staff noted that the baby would be coming any minute. And so our second daughter was born shortly thereafter. It was an incredibly smooth and easily delivery with no complications. Mom and baby are both doing great. Thanks for the fantastic meal and memorable evening out EDNA!
