   Everything was top notch service from the time we walked in to the time we left. Our server Frank was the best, he was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back.

   Our experience has always been amazing but this visit was different. Our server was just not attentive and we waited a long time for everything. Our dinner was brought out by someone else and our server took forever to come check on us. We were half way done before he came to ask if we needed anything. We ordered more wine and that came once we finished eating. We ordered dessert and we waited 20 mins for it. When he brought it, it was not the dessert we ordered. Food was excellent as always but service was a bit off.

   My family including grandparents, children and grandchildren had dinner at Eddie Merlot. Since we were a larger group we had a little room on the side. Josh was our waiter and he was outstanding. Very professional yet friendly and warm. He attended to our every need (he had other tables to attend to) but was not overbearing either. The assistant servers were attentive as well. The food is always delicious - known for their steaks they are tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Everyone makes you feel special when you dine. Thank you for a great experience and I highly recommend Josh as your server. He is exceptional.

   Eddie Merlot’s continues to be consistent with excellent food and service. Everyone at our table had steak and it was delicious. Always a treat to dine here.

   Keep in mind when reading that the restaurant was not full on a Saturday night at 6:30pm: The Service was slow and we experienced 15 minutes between waiter visits. Drinks took 15-20 minutes to arrive, Martini served without olives which finally came 10 minutes later. at 40 minutes we we finally asked if we wanted appetizers. After a 1 hr and 15 minutes we were asked if we wanted to order. My wife ordered the lemon chicken. 10 minutes later we were informed they were out of chicken (6:30 reservations and out of Chicken already?). When the food finally arrived, all dishes (6 people) were on the cool side of warm. Not one hot plate of food. Steaks cold, Lobster cold, fish cold, sides warm not hot. Missing mushrooms, those came after the steaks were almost fully consumed. The steaks were cooked perfectly, but served cold. The porterhouses were mostly tough and not very tender. The lobsters were not all cooked the same, some perfect (but cold) while others were over cooked and cold. Tuna Steak was overcooked. We knew the prices before we made the reservations, and I must say this is probably to most overpriced restaurant I have ever eaten at. The quality of the food and service versus the price are not even close to what they should be. to miss on both service and food quality equals a pass from my party of 6. Very disappointing on every level. Total time to get 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, dinner and a free birthday cake (tasted like a thawed dry chocolate cake) took us a total of 2:45 minutes. Considering we knew what we wanted to order in the first 15 minutes, this was unacceptable. As far as thee speed of service goes, it's as if they had no expediters in the kitchen. $$ value = 1/10
