Earp Distilling Co. is an ultra-modern distillery and bar located in harbour-side Carrington, Newcastle. Our distillery tasting bar offers our locally crafted spirits, cocktails, wine and beer with a seasonal food menu featuring local produce. Explore our distillery on a guided tour, experience our unique spirits flavours with a guided tasting or learn to distill your very own gin in our Spirit School class. Special events and function packages are available by request.

Staff made sure my birthday dinner was memorable for all the right reasons. My group all enjoyed the night. It was a great venue, great food and great gin. Highly recommend and will be back.

The small plates were fabulous especially the cauliflower. For smalls, the helpings were generous. The service was attentive, and Nes was the teacher in the tastings… will recommend and be back for more myself.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the set menu so we would experience a range of things we would not normally order. So glad we did. Our waitress was so natural and knowledgeable about the food and beverages. Took her advice on the beer, wine and gin. Loved them all as they went so well with the food. The Portside gin is absolutely delicious.

Had a great night at Earp. The food has good variety, the cocktails are perfect but the staff are next level. Fun, good timing, knowledgeable - they provided an inviting and comfortable space.

Great time at our Gin blending experience. It was enjoyable, educational, and loads of fun - Ness is an awesome host and her expertise was matched by her enthusiasm and humour. Dinner afterwards was excellent. The share plates are a great concept and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal which was absolutely cooked to perfection. Will be back!

We had the best Father’s Day here - excellent food, service and entertainment! With 4 kids and 5 adults, we were so well looked after!

Great service!! Was given information about beers and spirits and never left wondering where a waiter was as well as very friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Food and drinks came out quickly and were fresh. Musician playing was great and not too distracting, could still have a conversation easily. Bar stools around barrels was a little bit uncomfortable but understandably bigger groups were sat at tables and chairs. Great atmosphere and enjoyable experience.
