   The employees are nice and servers tried hard but the food was underwhelming for the price. If you are going to position a restaurant as a high end steakhouse, the food has to be impeccable. If you order a dish with a “sauce”, the sauce shouldn’t come in a cold steel ramekin on the side. How can a “high end” steakhouse not know how to do a solid steak au poivre? And a steakhouse that only offers one type of potato side and doesn’t offer hash browns is not much of a steakhouse. Seafood appetizer was fresh. Vegetable sides were ok. Bread was bland. Didn’t have dessert. Hostess and servers were very nice but I probably won’t return. Not worth the pricepoint IMO.

   We visited on a Monday and the restaurant only had customers at 3-4 tables at the time. All the staff members including the receptionist were highly professional and very nice. The steak and salmon were well seasoned and cooked well. Price range is on the high end but as expected for high quality food and service. The banana foster cheesecake with flambe at the table was a highly unique and enjoyable experience offered by our waiter, Jordan, and was perhaps the best cheesecake I've had.    Couldn’t wait run try this place and did not disappoint at all. Kevin was amazing server and helped guide us thru the night. Food and drinks were amazing. It’s going to be on my list of normal places to go.

   After waiting over an hour for our food when the restaurant was dead, filet was decent & tender. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to E3 again there are way too many restaurants to choose from in Nashville.

   Upon arrival the hostess sat us at a two top in a tight corner with a view of the elevator and high chairs. Initially, we thought that occurred due to restaurant might need four tops in main area…the restaurant was EMPTY! Our server was gracious and accommodating, acknowledging that he did not understand why they even have those tables and moved us to a more picturesque area in main dining room. I left vm for management to discuss privately but they never returned my call so here it is… your waitstaff were terrific…your hostess needs more training…you should do away with those seats near the elevator on the second level…for an upscale restaurant where diners are paying $100+ per head, it should be a gracious dining experience for all regardless of party size…your waiter did a great job of turning our experience around and we will be back as the food was fabulous and it’s one of my daughters favorite restaurants in Nashville!

   The server was knowledgeable but service was very slow and not attentive. We were the first guests in the door at 5 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 (regular meal no dessert). Margarita was wonderful, but my main complaint is the value. I’m not one to complain about an expensive meal when the value is there but for two people our bill was $297 before tip with nothing extravagant ordered. $44 for lobster mac and cheese which was relatively small (for $44) is crazy! We wouldn’t have even ordered it but the way it’s priced on the menu adding the lobster is a little deceiving. Our steaks were very tender and cooked perfect but very under seasoned. All in all it was a good meal but we won’t be back because there are so many great steakhouses where you can get the same or better meal for better value than E3.

    We made reservations for Valentines Day and spent 30 minutes waiting for drinks. The food took 2.5 hours and the steak was cold by the time it hit our table. The restaurant was loud, cold, and the service was terrible for an upscale restaurant. I would recommend going to Kane Prime or Jeff Ruby’s before E3. We will not be going back. We made reservations at Jeff Ruby’s while sitting down at E3 because we will never be returning. Don’t waste your time or money, there are much better options for the same price.
