Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago.
Along with his wife Lauren they opened Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar in 2007, DVASH’s sister location, and has been serving authentic-Israeli cuisine to the South Florida community for more than a decade.

DVASH, located in Boca Raton, showcases a modern twist on classic mediterranean cuisine. Imagined by Cohen’s daughter, Anabel Hochberg, the menu is designed for sharing and provides guests with the opportunity to travel the culinary world through their taste buds, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients and of course, a little bit of honey.

La comida tenía buen sabor pero los dumplings llegaron muy grasosos y el flatbread estaba muy grueso y grasoso. Nuestra server aunque sonriente y amable, no estuvo muy atenta a nuestras necesidades a pesar de que el restaurante tenía poca gente.

Loved our server Tyler. Only complaint- kitchen should be more flexible with deviating for a kosher person. My sister wanted chicken schnitzel without the Caesar because of the cheese. They should have been able to make the sandwich with just lettuce and tomatoes!!!

As usual, everything was excellent. Amit, our server was great, very attentive. The food amazing (with portions big enough to bring some home) and the music (israeli) .. fantastic !!! We love Dvash!!!

I’ve been eating at this restaurant quite a bit for the past couple years, but for some reason, the service and food was subpar tonight. It took 50 minutes for our food to come out and all we had was an appetizer and a salad. I feel like the salad was only sliced cucumber with halloumi cheese. I think they could for the money add more ingredients. I will be back but wanted to share that this night was disappointing
