Always a wonderful time at Duling Kurtz. Terrific food, wine, service and ambiance. One of very few restaurants around any longer where it feels “special” going there and getting a little dressed up. Always very classy.

The ambiance is cozy and beautiful. The service is just right. Server is here when needed but not hovering or asking questions when you are chewing. The food is delicious with reasonable portions. Perfection!

We have always enjoyed Duling Kurtz however this time was a bit disappointing. We walked in and there was no one at the entrance to greet us. We were a few minutes early for our reservation however the bar was very lively and noisy but no one came to the front for a long time. I think a bartender ended up at the front and seated us. Our service was very slow, we did not drink anything from the bar and were only drinking water however I had to ask twice to refill the water. Our waiter had no energy and really made our experience less then expected. I had the baramundi which was good, my son had the strip steak which was more rare then medium rare and my other son had the weiner shnitzel but it wasnt fried enough and not crisp. I ordered a capaccino that was warm when I finally got it and when the desert came the cheese strudel was very good and so was the linzer torte but seemed much smaller then it used to be. When we received our desserts i requested the check, expecting it to take a long time however the check came immediately and he collected the bill, once signed immediately. I guess he had his priorities. It is not an inexpensive restaurant and the service should be much better then what we had the other night.

There on a weekday evening (early - 5:15) not crowded. started to get more customers as we were finishing our meal. My wife and I had Bronzino, cooked perfectly. I also had a very good French onion soup. Our guest treated himself to a Wiener Schnitzel. He had not had for several years and thought it was great. A bit pricy if you also add cocktails and a desert, if you keep them under control price acceptable.

The restaurant seemed unprepared for our reservation although they confirmed several times. Ended up sitting right near the entrance in a high traffic area. Mandatory valet parking which is not disclosed when making a reservation. Food was very good.

The atmosphere was festive, and we had a great seat by the window however, our server Patty, for some reason refused to acknowledge my wife or even communicate with her for the majority of the experience. It wasn’t till I refused to respond to her or even look up that she finally paid attention as my wife as she was paying for dinner that night Although my wife thought the salmon was excellent, Candidly, the bizarre service ruined the experience for me; along with the fact that my lobster crêpes tasted like the seafood was from a frozen box — disappointed to say the least.

My wife and I go here every Christmas. Duling Kurtz never disappoints. The food, the service, and the atmosphere is outstanding. We never felt like we were being rushed. On average, we are there between two and three hours. If I were to use a single word to describe Duling Kurtz, it would be perfection!

My wife and I have been dining at Duling Kurtz for a number of years. The service is usually very good. But for this dinner, it was outstanding. Our party arrived in two groups. Our server, Zach, knew how to get the first couple started w/ cocktails before the second couple arrived w/o making anyone feel as though they were either jumping ahead or coming in late. All rules of etiquette were followed for serving and removing plates/utensils. Zach was professional and friendly (w/o being intrusive). The food was exceptional. The party ordered cocktails, wine, soups, salads, seafood & meats, and desserts. Everything was prepared and presented perfectly.
