The music was too loud for my taste. The service was taking way too long and the restaurant was not busy. No one had the time to look at our table to see if we were finished and needed service.

Overall great experience. We ordered the octopus app, 2 sushi rolls and the Miso black cod. All were delish, thought the octopus could have been a bit more substantial. Dessert was the banana soufffle which was outstanding - must get. Cocktails were very good. Service was friendly and attentive. A drawback is the $15 valet parking which seemed a bit much.

I recently dined at Drift in Weehawken, and overall, it was a good experience, though not without a few disappointments. The food was great, but the pricing felt a bit steep for the location. One standout disappointment was the Jumbo Prawn Cocktail. It was clear the shrimp had been frozen rather than fresh, which was surprising given the cost. Knowing that the raw bar across the street at Blu offers much better quality made this even more of a letdown. While the ambiance and service were solid, for the price point, I expected a bit more attention to detail, particularly with dishes that are meant to showcase premium ingredients. Would I return? Maybe, but I’d likely skip the seafood offerings and explore other menu options instead.

Drift was much larger than I expected. Despite the size, the service was personal and excellent. The food was interesting and well-prepared. The juxtaposition of our table and adjacent tables was a bit tight, creating a noisier atmosphere, but it was tolerable and my wife and I could converse without shouting. Drift also has an attractive outdoor seating area we would like to experience when the weather allows it. The city views were spectacular. All in all, Drift feels very classy and provides great service and quality. I’d highly recommend it for a nice dinner out.

Great place with great food and ambiance. Amazing attention to detail in the build out of this restaurant, a truly special place. Overall excellent experience and I will definitely be going back. A must visit.
