On this, The restaurants original site, Doyles on the Beach opened Australia's first seafood restaurant in 1885. We have been family owned and operated for over 5 generations.

The restaurant internationally famous and a mecca for Sydneysiders and tourists alike, offering a stunning range of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.

Family Friendly, Great for date night!, indoor & outdoor dining located right next to the beach. We cater for families, business lunches, special events, weddings & special occasions. private rooms available.

Visit our newly opened open-air Garden Bar (open daily 11.30am - late) , try one of our refreshing cocktails, a draught beer or a glass of wine before dining in the restaurant or why not order from the garden bar menu. (reservations excepted for both the restaurant & garden bar)

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at Doyle’s this time. I’ve been to Doyle’s since I was a little girl to celebrate special occasions. We ordered a round of drinks and a hot and cold seafood platter. The seafood platter arrived before the drinks. The drinks didn’t arrive for some time after we’d started eating. The scallops mornay were nearly cold and the sauce had set. Overall the cold seafood didn’t seem to be the freshest. We had 2 wedges of lemon for all of the cold seafood. No vinigarette for the oysters. I had to ask for the Doyle’s plum sauce which seems to have changed. We wanted to order another round of drinks but were ignored so I had to get up from the table and go to the manager and ask. Overall a really disappointing experience in what was supposed to be a special occasion :(

Such a lovely spot to experience Sydney. Had overseas friends with me and the adored the ferry ride and then the seafood lunch.

We had forgotten about Doyles as a lunch option. What a treat to have a great view, excellent service, by Ethan, and fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Thank you for all your efforts Doyles staff we will be back. I

The whole baked snapper with Nahm Jim sauce was out of this world. Truly the best fish we have ever eaten!! Too phenomenal to photograph.

The seats at the inside tables are of a poor design they look nice but are uncomfortable to sit on they need at least a back cushion. If people are going to sit for a long lunch or dinner more comfortable seating should be provided it is not a cheap place so you would expect to have some comfort.

Lovely time at Doyle’s. Staff great, ambience perfect. Food is good but a little pricey. Highly recommend for a great experience. 💖
