Note that last bookings for breakfast are 11am and first bookings for all day menu are 12pm. This gives a chance to reset and get ready for our all day menu.

There are now parking restrictions within the marina, we will validate your parking for you in order for you to get your parking for free. Please give us your registration plate when you arrive.

Please note that we are currently cashless, card payment only.

Please note that we do not have toilets on site but there are public toilets a 2min walk across the marina.

Our outside area is covered and heated in the colder months. There is the chance of some side wind/rain though if it's blowing a hoolie!

We are family friendly, when booking that a buggy/pram counts as a cover - let us know. :)

Excellent as always. Plan to return soon. Went with a friend ,who had never been for the breakfast before and he was suitably impressed and well fed. Staff very friendly ,attentive and helpful (as per usual).

If you are in a hurry then this is the place to go as we were asked to leave after one hour so they could use the table. I had barely finished my breakfast. It was not the leisurely breakfast catch up we were looking forward to. The food was amazing, one waitress was lovely the other was not so lovely sadly and quite surly. And that is reflected in my rating. I would go back for the food if I knew I could sit for longer. Great food shame about the rest.

Never had a bad meal here, food is always incredible. So many great choices and you won’t go wrong with any of them!

I normally enjoy the wings but they were not available so was left disappointed. Ordered a hotdog at over £11 and it was pretty bang average. Nae fancy sausage! Again disappointed considering the price. Poutine always good.

Service and staff I absolutely cannot fault, they were brilliant. The food however I was hugely disappointed with, I really like down the hatch and always recommend. This is the first time I’ve felt the food let me down. Ordered a bacon cheese burger, the burger…well I wouldn’t say it was a burger. Thinnest piece of meat I’ve had on a bun and was non existent in the middle. It was just bun and pickle. It was very disappointing, the chips also tasted like they had been reheated or out of a bag from Aldi. Underwhelmed and would consider elsewhere given I paid £13 for a bun and some pickle. Credit where it’s due, I’ve never had an issue with breakfast but would consider elsewhere in future for lunch.

Haven’t been to down the hatch for a while and as our friends were up visiting we decided to go for a treat. Unfortunately we all felt the quality of produce was not as it use to be and of poorer quality. Hash browns looked anaemic and the rest was dry and overcooked. It’s a shame because the restaurant use to be amazing and looked forward to breakfast but we would not rush back back In a hurry
