                                                            FANTASTIC!!! First of all we got delayed at the tunnel and were 30 min late. We were frazzled and they welcomed us in with beautiful smiling faces and patience. Everything about this place was top notch and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the carbonara pasta and bang bang shrimp! 🍤 Service was excellent! Thank you so much! We'll be back! 🫶😘

                                                            The food taste and quality has been the same the 4 times I have been there. Consistency' is very important in a successful restaurant. Dovetail has exceeded that expectation. Service is also excellent. Will go back again!

                                                            Truly the best service at this place. The staff are warm, attentive, and thorough. The food is incredible and the pasta some of the best I’ve had in Vancouver. One of my favorite places in town and truly cannot recommend enough.

                                                            Outstanding and unpretentious service. Fabulously friendly and caring. The "Happy Days" menu certainly keeps the cost very reasonable, especially for this high a level of tasty dishes. Both pastas we had, "spicy vodka" and "bolo" (pork/beef ragu) were delicious. We took the bolo home for dinner and it heated up with no fuss nor muss. Microwaving it to reheat without any additions whatsoever and it was perfect!! The burger is fantastic, dripping with yummy sauce and melted American cheese. Fries cooked well and totally addictive. And the bang bang shrimp to start were cooked beautifully with a wonderful spice level and a fine textural crunch. We were happy campers and will be back to try the rest of the menu. 😁

                                                            Anika was the best server I have ever had. I’d rather never go to another restaurant again than be served by anyone else. She is a queen, a mentor, a vision. I couldn’t have dreamed up service like this if heaven brought down servers and gave them to me at a nice restaurant. The timing was impeccable and Anika deserves a raise of at least 69% PER YEAR. This feels like it’s almost too much, but it’s not. If i met Anika in a dream, I’d wish it was real life.

                                                            Food & service were very good. It’s a younger crowd- so with that comes a few things- 1. It was very loud. 2. The female staff were very casually dressed (most wearing crop tops). I’m all for ladies wearing what they want- but in a restaurant trying to be upscale- I would expect the staff to be dressed more appropriately. We were sat on the enclosed patio . With heaters it was still cold.

                                                            Excellent happy hour menu. Smash burgers were both (beef and salmon) good and the salmon one was unique and worked (much to my surorise)x baby gem caesar salad was excellent as were the bang bang shrimp. The desserts were phenomenal especially the lemon tiramisus. We had two drinks, two mains, two sides and a dessert and it was under $100 before tax and tip. Highly recommend.
