Dove’s Luncheonette is thrilled to host Chef Chris Curren (formerly of Fulton Market Kitchen, 50/50, Blue 13) to preview his latest project Vicolo—opening in downtown Aurora in Summer 2025! Following the success of his St. Charles-based concept The Graceful Ordinary, Curren's team continues to elevate Chicagoland's suburban dining scene with Vicolo, a European-inspired daytime cafe & pasticceria. This February, Dove's and Vicolo are teaming up to preview Vicolo's upcoming menu of handmade pastas, complemented by seasonal sides & an extensive wine list. Join us for this special one-night-only collaboration! *Specials are a la carte. Guests can expect a $25 cancellation/no-show fee.

We were able to sit at the counter by the window and watch all the passersby. The pimento spread was amazing and the service was incredible.

Eat here. Eat it all. The chicken fried chicken is the standard. The onion burger is fantastic. So is taco norteno. Don’t skip the buttermilk pie! Drinks are great too. The service is chill and friendly and helpful.

We always enjoy coming to Dove’s. Each dish is curated with so much care. The employees are always so friendly and make you feel at home. Favorite neighbor spot.

Staff was great, attentive and fun , food was amazing. Overall, went above and beyond. Beat all expectations.

The bartender Max was incredible. He provided excellent food recommendations and his knowledge and recommendations on drinks (especially mezcal) was exceptional. The food was unique and delicious. I will be telling everyone to go here.

Great menus with wonderful service and just off the L it was a great location I. Wicker Park. The music was a bit loud for us but I would definitely go again

My absolute favorite restaurant in Chicago, hands down. The food is always incredible, the portions are generous, the cocktails are great, and they always have the best music. Everyone who works there is really nice too!
