I give them 6 stars. An unexpected gem in Harlingen. Innovative, tasty. Great wine selection. You can pick a bottle from the wine "shop" in addition to the menu list. This place would be more at home in Houston or Austin where food of this creativity and flavor would be expected. I stopped to speak to a table in the way out and 2 of the diners had come up from Matamoros in Mexico for this level of cuisine. the RGV is home to fabulous bar-b-que and Mexican food. Dos Olivos is a wonderful addition to the region.

Andrew, our server, was excellent! He knew the menu, available wines, checked on the table timely, and just created a wonderful dining experience for our table of 4.

Everything was too good. The ribeye, pan tomate, and truffle mac (and everything else) was amazing. Can’t go wrong with anything you choose.

Food was delicious. The French press coffee was not. Very weak coffee, it was watered down. Too bad that’s the only option for coffee.

This place is a real gem in Harlingen! The food was outstanding, and the service from Anh was very attentive and enthusiastic! We highly recommend!
