Donna’s is an all-day restaurant that starts off with breakfast sandwiches then transitions to lunch with a menu of sandwiches, salads, & small dishes. For dinner, the focus is on shared, family-style plates with a diverse influence of seasonal offerings. To accompany the food, we offer a wide array of beverage offerings, from natural wine, to cocktails & local beers. We accept reservations & walk-ins. We are also available for pick-up through Ambassador!

Donna’s is quite simply the greatest spot to eat in the city. The Sunday roast was the perfect treat on a snowstormy Sunday, but any day, any meal, any item, it’s all the best.

Service was excellent, usually is though! Food was 11/10 and the vibes were lovely and lively.

The ambiance was terrific. The food was great - however, more main options could be an asset if you are going for dinner. Otherwise, it’s a great spot for drinks and apps.

The food was delicious! I am always pleasantly surprised and delighted by the inventive use of ingredients and the contrasts of textures and flavours. The service was excellent: friendly, helpful and efficient. The room is bright, thoughtful and comfortable but unpretentious. I love Donna’s and will keep coming back!

The service was fantastic, I really like the old vintage style diner with a touch of modern charm. The mushroom sandwich is my go to. I’m not a die hard mushroom fan but the mushroom sandwich had an amazing taste and crunch ratio 5/5

A funky charming spot. A large staff was preparing the food. The service was excellent and the food very tasty. The owners bring a lot of first rate experience to this charming restaurant.

We had a celebratory dinner at Donna’s. Three of us had never been and one had. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The wines and food were amazing. Every dish was outstanding including the oysters. We shared everything. We will be back!

Had a delightful experience at Donna's, everything from food to to drinks to the vibes of the place and I would say that for it's moderate price tag, Donna's is a knockout. Standout dishes were the lamb liver on toast which was super rich in flavour, the leafy salad which had one of the best dressings I've had in a while, and the duck breast which was succulent to the max. We also had the steak tartare but honestly found it slightly underwhelming in comparison to the rest of the menu. Our servers were helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back!

Had been to Donna's previously for dinner and it was pretty good overall. This visit was for a weekend breakfast. We were sat at a large communal table in the back when we were only 2 when rest of place was almost totally empty. The reason given was we had asked for a quieter table if possible. Not really the response hoped. Ordered the English full breakfast. The food itself was average at best. The bacon was overcooked, the baked beans were underdone (almost crunchy) and the sausage was quite fatty. Sourdough toast was ok but over toasted. Maybe we caught it on a bad day, but not likely to return.
