    Ciao Ragazzi! We can't wait to host you. For groups of 12+ we host a compulsory tasting menu, a 2-course degustation of Antipasti and DOP Pizza designed to share for $60 per person. The menu includes, antipasto: Degustation of 3 Mozzarelle, Salumi misti and focaccia. Followed by, DOP pizza: DOP Pizza (a generous selection of chefs' choice pizzas) and salads to accompany. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-low options are available. A $30 deposit per head is required on booking, the deposit amount will be deducted from your bill. The balance of $30 per head will be payable on departure. Drinks additional. A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays, an 18% surcharge applies on public holidays.

    We recently dined at D.O.C. Mozzarella Bar in Carlton as a family of four, and while the food was exceptional, a small issue with service left us feeling a bit disappointed. First, let me say that the pizza was absolutely amazing—some of the best we’ve had in Melbourne. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors authentic, and the overall experience with the food was fantastic. When we were seated, we were looked after by a waiter from Naples who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. He made us feel welcome and really elevated the experience for the majority of the meal. However, towards the end of our dinner, a second waiter from Cagliari took over, and things took a turn. While he tried to be nice, his actions felt rushed and inattentive. I was still eating my pizza when he cleared all the cutlery, which felt premature and inconsiderate. My mother, in particular, found this behavior quite rude. To make matters worse, he immediately asked if we wanted the bill, even though it was clear we were still finishing our meal. His demeanor gave the impression that he was eager to finish up and leave, which really detracted from what had been an otherwise pleasant experience. D.O.C. is a fantastic spot with amazing food and generally great service, but I hope this review encourages the team to ensure consistency across all their staff so that every customer feels properly looked after, from start to finish.

    Super fast service, very friendly and checked how we were going often. Yummy food as always had the mushroom and San Danielle pizza. Just a tad loud in the venue but otherwise perfect. Thank you

    The pizza quality is consistently outstanding at DOC. Would go so far as saying it’s the best in Melbourne or at least our favourite! Giovanni was excellent and very attentive to our table despite it being busy.

    Really fast & friendly service, got our pizzas within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Pizza was really yummy, good base and fresh ingredients.

    The experience was average at best, but the prices were anything but! While our table waitress was lovely—helpful and polite—the rest of the floor staff came across as dismissive and carried an air of arrogance that soured the atmosphere. Paying $21 for a single glass of wine and $35 for a minimally topped, dinner-plate-sized pizza that barely fed two people felt downright unreasonable. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and service didn’t justify the premium prices.
