We are conveniently located in the heart of Houston's Energy Corridor, and a short walk away from Terry Hershey Park.

Established in Houston in 2003 by owners Babak and Shelley Elham, District 7 is best known for its fresh take on urban American cuisine. The brand operates seven other locations across midtown and Downtown Houston – District 7 Grills, The District on Main, Cellar 7 and Table 7 Bistro. While the West Memorial Place location will offer the same menu as The District on Main, including homemade sauces and hand-tossed pizzas, the new eatery will offer smoothies to cater to the area’s office tenants and residents – something new and different from the other locations. Situated on the ground floor of West Memorial Place II, the new restaurant features a generous outdoor patio and lounge area adjacent to the Terry Hershey Park hike and bike trails

Great food and atmosphere Extremely slow service Outdoor dining is great - spacious and places to socialize Kale and artichoke dip is great Octopus is prepared perfectly Brunch items are all very tasty Salads are fresh and flavorful

The experience was absolutely terrible from the moment we got there. First we had to find the host ourselves. I had a party of 20 people and the tables were not even ready even though the restaurant was empty. Our server was very forgetful and had an attitude when we asked him for condiments that came with our meals. Silverware was not on the table, we waited over 30 min for champagne glasses and our drinks. The coffee a friend ordered was cold, everyone’s food was also cold but at that point we were so over it we ate anyways. Oh by the way the food was absolutely terrible. The pork chop was nasty, the waffles were dry, even the eggs were trash. Luckily we were all so happy to see each other we enjoyed ourselves. But this was absolutely the worst experience of my life. The worst part is a lot of us at the table have been servers or hosts ourselves so we were very unimpressed and disappointed in the quality of service. We would never treat our customers this way. We still tipped him again even though gratuity was included because we know how it is. However , hopefully he will read this review and learn from this. You cannot be unorganized and treat people like they don’t matter.

Our server was overwhelmed by the number of tables he had. It too forever to get drinks. He was nice and helpful just had too much. Tables weren’t getting bussed when people left.
