Welcome to DipDipDip Tatsu-Ya, a celebration of shabu-shabu and other Japanese nabemono hot pot traditions curated by Chef Tatsu Aikawa and the Tatsu-Ya Family. WOW! As you walk in, you are welcomed by the entire staff. Very inviting atmosphere, a lot of energy, and the drinks and food was amazing. Understanding this was our first visit, Jorge did a tremendous job of explaining the menu and providing his expertise on drinks, appetizers and main dish's. We can't say enough great things about dipdipdip Tatsu-ya and looking forward to our next of many visits.

Delicious! only complaint is server knowledge of the finer details of the menu- and the chairs are terribly uncomfortable! We’ll go back though! Delicious food and drink!

This is our 5th(?) time to Dip Dip and it always delivers a great experience. The format is so much fun, food is delicious and service outstanding. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and easily helps first timers navigate the menu according to his/her tastes. We also were celebrating 2 engagements in the family and the restaurant kindly provided a toast to the happy couples. Dip Dip’s offerings are broad enough that we’ll be returning again to try other items on the menu.

The omakase menu was spot-on, with each course featuring creative pairings of meats, vegetables and sauces. The drinks menu is also amazing and the bartender extremely enthusiastic about his craft. We were both very happy with our meals and will definitely be back!

Brought my sister in to experience the new menu for the first time and everything was stellar. Service was on point, food was delicious, and the cocktails were *chef's kiss.* Couldn't have asked for a better meal experience.

You won't find finer Japanese "fine dining" cuisine in Austin. We selected the Omakase experience and each course was simply wonderful. Sake paring is definitely worth the price and a great education if you know little about sake. Service was exceptional as well. No question, this will quickly become a place in which I spend way too much time. Highly recommended.
