We were looking forward to trying this new restaurant. We walk in and the owner, who is the maitre d/ host, greets us with little enthusiasm, didn’t seem at all excited to see us and basically not very friendly. So first impressions were not that favorable. We are a couple that goes out to eat every a lot, so if we love a restaurant we will frequent it almost every week so big mistake. We were not impressed with the food. Nothing knocked our socks off. We shared the endive salad pretty bland and un memorable. I had the steak frites. Majority of the steak was chewy and impossible to cut. My husband had the beef berginoun and there was hardly any beef. The restaurant was hot and stuffy and extremely loud. We didn’t even want to stay to try dessert. Unfortunately we will not be going back again and we live right up the street.

We loved our experience. A simple, some might consider elegant, dining room with friendly people everywhere. Their food was mostly excellent. Some dishes were divine. We ate every morsel.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Simple menu with french classics, great wine list and friendly staff! Being French, I have tried a lot of french restaurants in LA...many time overrated...Deux Bistro got it right! Merci and keep it simply good!

I took my 2 adult kids here for valentine lunch and it didn’t disappoint! I’ve dined there before but my kids haven’t and they loved it! Amazing French onion soup (my daughter’s favorite is here- we always rate our French onion at LA restaurants. ) Our server was sweet and attentive. We had the scrambled egg and goat cheese it was delicious - my daughter enjoyed the French toast. What a sweet day we had! Thank you! We will put lunch here in the rotation. Btw, dinner here is really nice as well!

What a wonderful find! Aninviting local French bistro, with personal attention and delicious food. This little spot is one to watch. So glad they have found a home here in the valley.:)

Celebrated my birthday here and the service was unbelievably outstanding. The food was incredible - highly recommend the onion soup, roasted chicken, trout almondine, and crème brûlée. Bonus that the waitstaff made me feel incredibly special with a little birthday tune.

The food is excellent. I always get the bread and butter and the mussels. Salads are amazing, too. Service is great.
