In an attempt to honor the history of our beautiful building, the third Melon Bank ever built, we pay homage to its past! We chose period correct lighting and finishes from 1940 to bring it all together!

Della Terra which translates to “of the earth” transforms the essence of a small town eatery. Centrally located in historic downtown Zelienople, our goal is to capture the warmth and comfort of an Italian trattoria. Chefs reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that pulls inspiration from the Italian cooking tradition to create meaningful food, celebrating the restaurant’s ongoing relationship with its local family of farmers and suppliers.

Cold gusts every time door opened. Need a heater in vestibule. Otherwise perfect experience

As always, the food is delicious and look forward to menu additions for the day or “Holiday”. In this case, the Valentine’s Day specials were creative and excellent. While the noise level was “energetic”, it was not overly loud and the music was appropriate to the dining experience. Look forward to my next visit.

Was excited to try but a bit disappointed. Table was very small and not very intimate. My boyfriend had a sausage pasta which he enjoyed. I had a shrimp risotto which I guess I didn’t read had a spicy marinara sauce with it and I found it too spicy. Was $43 and only had 3 shrimp. We also ordered a garlic bread appetizer and it just tasted burnt. Server was polite and attentive. Decor was nice and trendy but overall thought it was very pricey for what we ordered.

It was a disappointment! we had an early reservation 5:00 for my wife’s B Day-the seating lined the wall kinda like a bus station and the music was loud and very unusual. one other couple was seated at the far end . The hostess sat us right next to them putting my wife in the crack between two bench seats. we got the eye roll from the hostess when we moved over one table. Appetizer was good and my meal porchetta was good but not worth the price. My wife had the saffron Risotto with shrimp daivola( 3 shrimp in a nasty sauce on crunchy risotto ) and when she said it was not to here liking they said well you did eat the shrimp! not going back !

VERY loud (we were seated upstairs). Could hardly hear those at my table. They seated us promptly (we had reservations). The food was decent but overpriced ($18 for a salad with no meat, $18 for garlic bread.) The cannoli was absolutely terrible - the outside of it was fried like an egg roll.

The flavors and quality of ingredients are outstanding. The cocktails were smooth & balanced. We had a lovely evening!

our waitress was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the food was wonderful. i had a side ceasar and the pasta special, with the fried artichokes.

The service was poor. Ordered 4 meals, with only 3 coming out and after asking twice when the last meal would come out it was looked into. By the tine the last meal came out all other meals were finished. In addition, the time it took to clear our table after the main meals were finished was forever. Food was great but the service is truly lacking!

I usually have a good experience at Della Terra. I was a bit disappointed with the menu prices. The cost for bread was $8. Really ? An Italian restaurant does not give free bread. They call it an appetizer. It was a tiny 5 inch piece of bread. Service was great with a wonderful waitress. Pasta was good.
