Delarosa is an Italian-style restaurant in downtown San Francisco. It has a free and open design with large, communal tables for many different guests to share during a meal. There is also stool seating around the edges of the restaurant near the bar area. This is a well lit restaurant with long lines of bright pendants lights hanging from the ceilings. Pizza is the main focus at Delarosa, but other Italian cuisine is also offered. During the weekdays, a lunch and dinner menu is offered with frittis, paninis, spiedinis and pasta with your choice of sauce meats and toppings. A large variety of pizza is also offered, including the delicious margherita or spicy marinara pizzas. On weekends, guests can order from the brunch menu for a lighter meal of traditional breakfast dishes, appetizers or pizzas. The bar at Delarosa serves from a selection of popular international and Italian wines.

Nos dieron una mesa junto a los baños a pesar de estar vacío el restaurante. Comida bien. Pésimo servicio.

We loved it here prepandemic but like with so many restaurants, they now have a ton of delivery business and it has impacted the dining-in experience greatly. Service staff were short with us almost to the point of being rude. Food wasn’t nearly as good as it used to be. Still fine, but not special the way I remember it. Overall, we didn’t feel like we got the same value and experience for the money that we used to.

Great good but be assertive if you want to be served - which isn’t a bad thing if you know the deal but if you’re not used to asking for service - ask.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here (a large party) and we had a fantastic experience! From the moment we entered the restaurant to the time our last guest left, everything was top notch. Service was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The atmosphere was modern but still cozy. We ordered a variety of items off the menu and we truly enjoyed every single one. My favorite was the fettuccine w/Dungeness crab! Delicious! Our party of twelve teen girls was joyfully loud (we tried to rein it in - promise!) and they were still so nice to us so thank you and thank you for making my daughter’s birthday dinner so memorable in such a lovely way. We will most definitely be back!

Front entrance door wouldn't close, so there was a cold breeze. Thats's the only complaint.

Fun and warmth place. Pizza was delicious and felt like the authentic Italian pizza.

Our second cocktail wasn't mixed with quite as much finesse. The meatballs and shrimp were fine. We always enjoy ourselves there.

We love going to Delarosa, especially when we’re in sf with our grandkids. The food is delicious: pizzas, raviolis, pappardelle, meatballs, Caesar salad, beers and cocktails, to mention a few. The ambiance is upbeat, well lighted, natural wood, friendly waiters. The value is great for sf prices.

The food was delicious- we shared a kale/beet salad and the pappardelle. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Excellent location as well - walking distance to Moscone Center.

The service was fast. We ordered the meatballs, crab arancini, the white pizza with prosciutto and arugula and the butternut squash ravioli with browned butter and hazelnuts. Everything was delicious. We liked the thin crust pizza. The prosciutto was in big slices so one person didn’t get any prosciutto on her slice of pizza. The service was great. They were able to accommodate my mom and her wheelchair. We were there to celebrate a birthday but we were so full that we didn’t order any celebration dessert.
