What Dear John’s is to steak, Dear Jane’s will be to seafood. Seasoned chefs and entrepreneurs Hans Röckenwagner and Josiah Citrin have teamed up again for Dear Jane's. Taking full advantage of the stunning marina view, the focus is on classic American seafood dishes prepared simply with the highest-quality ingredients by seasoned chefs. From Oysters Rockefeller to Shrimp Louie, Surf ‘n Turf and Crepes Zuzette, the menu hews to those of some of the most legendary seafood restaurants of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It will feel familiar and upscale, yet updated and approachable.

This sensibility will be on full display with hand-mixed tartare, classic caviar service, and professionally fileted whole fish. The layout of the split-level room and spacing between booths and tables are ideal for this personalized service that is begging to come back in style in this dining room.

Beautiful venue on the marina with fabulous interior in a 50’s-60’s vibe. Delicious caviar prep, fried calamari, sea trout amandine, poached halibut, steak, wedge salad, whipped mash potatoes, and a Black Forest brownie with cherries, and ice cream! Our waiter Robert, and his team were wonderful!!!

Nice dinner all around: service to food was efficient and very good. Quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Tables not too close together.

Food was exceptional, especially the clam chowder. A nice treasure tucked away. Perfect for a celebration at just dinner with friends.

AMAZING food! Steak cooked to perfection. Halibut was delicious. Love the whipped potatoes. Coffee and cocktails on point. The best baba crepes for desert. 10/10 recommend!!!!!!

They charge you for tap water… that’s a little ridiculous. Also, we were celebrating a 75 th birthday, and they don’t even have a small scoop of ice cream or anything to have a candle.. for the prices they charge, you think they would… service was great, food good, but nothing extra special… overpriced

A must at least once. Fresh fish, but decidedly smaller portions. Great view. Warm, attentive staff. Expect $135 person without drinks.

Dear Jane's was exceptional. The food was 5 stars. Our waiter lacked emotion but took good care of us. We will be back.

ordered Medium Rare filet mignon and the waitress gaslighted me saying it was when it clearly was medium. My wifes was done perfectly and clearly there was a difference.... And the peppercorn sauce was not as good as in the past making my meal unpleasant overall. Then waitress confirmed with me that a candle would be on his desert but no candle arrived. Portions are smaller now too. Overall seems skimpy and service is lacking personal touch which makes this place overpriced.
