The food was delicious. The noise level was a bit loud, making it difficult for our 4 person party to converse. The service was fine, but there was clearly a need for more servers. Our server did an excellent job in light of the insufficient serving staff.

The dinner was delicious and our server Brendan was fantastic. The other servers were as well. When we return to Sacramento we would definitely go again.

Thank you for another great dining experience Dawson's! The service as always was great, Juan was attentive, informative about menu selections, and accommodating. All of our menu selections were phenomenal, from oysters on the half shell to petit filet to the sides (brussels sprouts and creamed spinach), and of course Vo's famous carrot cake. Can't wait for the next special occasion to celebrate at Dawson's!

We usually go to Morton's for special occasions but decided to try Dawson's Steakhouse. The service was immaculate but there were a few issues which may seem minor to most but are noticeable since we're used to Morton's level of service and food quality: our tablecloth had a couple stains, the taste of my husband's steak was mediocre, the sweet potato fries were over cooked, the "molten" peanut butter cake did not have a melty center at all, and my husband said his loaded potato tasted like it was a day old. We were celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday and they have a Happy Birthday chocolate placed on her dessert. For the money we paid, we would have been better off going to Morton's.

We have been there a few times and food and service excellent each time. Highly recommended for an upscale dining experience.

Service was excellent! Food was very good. The side dishes are large. Next time, we'll share the 'one person' size. Had the rib eye, which was cooked beautifully. There are two optional 'sauces' for the steak that I will change next time. They have a Crust (butter sauce) and a Sauce. they are both wonderful but I would only order one. Will go again!

Food and drinks were great, but it was ultimately a disappointment. Server dropped dessert menus off and then informed us he'd made a mistake and the kitchen was closed. HowTF does that happen?

The restaurant has great ambience and the food was good. The prices are way too high given what you get served. A glass of wine only had an inch of wine in it for $18. The shrimp cocktail had 5 shrimp for $22. A baked potato was $13. Lower the prices and maybe you'd have more return customers.

We enjoyed another anniversary at Dawson's! As usual, the food was great and they treated us like family. We would recommend Dawson's to anyone looking for a special place to take special friends and family.
