El chef y propietario David Turin abrió el establecimiento David en 1998, en la histórica plaza Monument Square, en el distrito de las artes de Portland, Maine.     Great food. Excellent cocktails. I marvel at how each person on the wait staff team can deliver a martini filled to the brim without one spill! Wonderful ambience. Great vibe. Love the place.

    Just WOW! This was our first Winter Wednesday at David’s Monument Square, our second at a David’s restaurant. Chef Turin got it spot on with this event. The menu appealed to a meat eater and a fish-only eater and our cream brûlée bread pudding was probably the best dessert we’ve ever had. The bottles of wine offered were very appealing. Our server, Ali, was exceptional. I would not change one single thing!

    David’s was amazing. Our server was very friendly and service was very efficient. The food was incredible and it was cool being able to see into the kitchen while we were eating. Could not recommend David’s more, we absolutely loved our experience.

    Fun place! The cocktails were great and service was outstanding! We ordered the meatloaf, a pizza, oysters, salad, and fries. The guys were happy with the meatloaf and pizza! The oysters were good. The fries were soggy but has great flavor. Salad was fine, nothing special but not bad, just expensive for what it was.

    We have been to David’s several times and the food has always been exceptional. During our most recent visit, on a busy Saturday evening, the service was good but the server seemed overly stretched. Regarding the decor, while it was certainly clean, it seemed a little worn and could use an update.
