Dauphine’s is a modern day incarnation of the dramatic Grande Dame establishments of New Orleans, brought to you by the award winning Long Shot Hospitality - the team behind DC's beloved The Salt Line Restaurants. Dauphine’s utilizes Mid-Atlantic ingredients to prepare classic New Orleans fare while also creating original dishes inspired by the legendary city. All brought to you in a breathtaking spacious downtown restaurant setting with the most beautiful bar in downtown DC, plenty of patio dining, and a festive outdoor bar and garden area. Located in the Midtown Center, Dauphine's is just steps from the White House, National Theater, Convention Center, Cap One Arena and most downtown attractions and provides an elegant yet relaxed dining atmosphere for any occasion. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our entrees came out, and my catfish was undercooked (no flake, flesh was still gray). They took it back immediately with apology. My lunch companion ate while I watched her. She had finished by the time my food arrived. Eventually, my food arrived, and I ate while she watched me. There was no offer of food while I waited. They didn’t comp or offer to comp any aspect of the meal, even my cup of coffee. The food itself was very good once cooked properly.

We came for a special New Year’s Day brunch and everything was amazing! We could stop oowwing and awwing at the food, drinks and ambience - the love jazz was great too! We will be back!

Had a NYE dinner here! Oysters spaghetti was very good, as were the cocktails and blackened catfish. Yellowfin crudo was fine. Our server was fantastic! Planning to visit again!

Our dinner was an early one on New Year's Eve. The restaurant was festive and the service was prompt and courteous. All of our meals were delicious and well presented. We were given a comfortable period of time to order and enjoy our meal. We all plan to be back. Great dining experience!

Overall excellent choice for dining. It is a Michelin starred restaurant. Great food, service, etc.Our first time going and we went for brunch. They had the live jazz band. You definitely get a feel of the Nawlins ambience! I was a little surprised at the small portions. But we filled up with the delicious bread basket and I had the oysters as an appetizer with the crab cake, potato salad and collard greens. Hubby had catfish and grits which he loved. Next time I plan to try dessert and the raw fish tower..

Went for Sunday Jazz Brunch food and drinks were delicious. The inside was big and very beautiful.
