Dauphine’s is a modern day incarnation of the dramatic Grande Dame establishments of New Orleans, brought to you by the award winning Long Shot Hospitality - the team behind DC's beloved The Salt Line Restaurants. Dauphine’s utilizes Mid-Atlantic ingredients to prepare classic New Orleans fare while also creating original dishes inspired by the legendary city. All brought to you in a breathtaking spacious downtown restaurant setting with the most beautiful bar in downtown DC, plenty of patio dining, and a festive outdoor bar and garden area. Located in the Midtown Center, Dauphine's is just steps from the White House, National Theater, Convention Center, Cap One Arena and most downtown attractions and provides an elegant yet relaxed dining atmosphere for any occasion. Dauphine’s serves Dinner seven nights a week and Brunch on weekends, with Happy Hour every day 4pm-7pm and an ALL DAY Happy Hour on Sundays - plus don't miss our signature Sunday Live Jazz Brunch! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is nothing short of outstanding. Their menu offers a variety of small and large plates, allowing you to sample a wide range of their creative dishes—including a fantastic raw bar. Every bite bursts with flavor, showing their dedication to both tradition and innovation. The bar menu is equally impressive, with options for every palate. What truly sets Dauphine’s apart is the exceptional service. The wait staff is attentive, striking the perfect balance between being available and giving you space to enjoy your meal. The manager stopping by after each course to ensure we were happy was a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience even further. If you’re visiting DC, I can’t recommend Dauphine’s enough. Whether you’re a lover of Creole cuisine or just looking for an incredible meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!

We dined at Dauphines last night. It was very good. We got there during happy hour and had drinks at the bar. It was super crowded. Then had dinner. The food was excellent as was the service. Enjoyed the small plates and the entrees. The oyster pasta was excellent as was the stuffed chicken breast. Dessert was good also. My only complaint was the noise level. Would recommend it for a night out.

Had Dauphine’s Board and the grilled yellow fin tuna. My server, recommended three meats for the board and I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, it was a bit more to eat than I expected, and I wondered whether I could eat a large plate after. I ordered the grilled yellow fin tuna, and at first glance, I thought it might be over cooked. Instead, it was perfectly cooked and tender. Returning to Lana, my wonderful server, I felt very, very well looked after.

Had a reservation and was seated quickly. Server very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks ( had the Higgins 75 and hubby had the Buck) was really tasty. Food was very delicious . Boudin balls yummy. Had the oyster spaghetti and hubby had the tuna ( which ate like a steak he says). We were able to have a conversation . It was , overall, a great experience for us.

We had a great time. The meal was delicious but I wish I would have gotten something else to try. We will be back!

Food was excellent. I had the pork chop and it was amongst the best I’ve tasted. We had a party of 7 and they all had a variety of things and they were all happy. Bread basket is not to be missed.

Great pre- Thanksgiving dinner. Awesome bar service, and even better table service. A must visit.
