Daphne is a modern American style restaurant, lounge, and garden terrace in the heart of Toronto's Financial District. Daphne offers American cuisine with a contemporary twist, skillfully curated by Executive Stuart Cameron. The menu showcases seasonal American classics, complemented by an array of small bites, handcrafted cocktails, and an extensive wine list, all presented within an elegant and modern ambiance. At the heart of the culinary offerings are two authentic wood-fired grills, infusing a distinct flavor into each dish. Locally sourced ingredients, along with local and imported seafood, are expertly grilled over live coals, ensuring a tantalizing dining experience.     Excellent. We were 7 with 1 small child under 10 and everyone was gracious and attentive. Someone trained the service staff here correctly. All were on point. Couldn't have asked for a nicer spot for an elegant brunch. The room is gorgeous and well suited to special occasions and celebrations. Will definitely book our next special family outing here.

    We were 10 for an early brunch on Saturday. An amazing service, good ambience, not overcrowded. The food was mostly delicious, cured salmon and egg Benedict were excellent, French toast was fine but not beyond. Great selection of deserts and coffees. For the value it was less costly than expected. I’m definitely returning and recommend without reservations!

    It is a pricey restaurant but it was to be expected. I took the Wagyu. I asked medium. It was a bit too red for me but I still ate it given the price. The side of baked potatoe was good. My husband took the sirloin. He said it was good but not worth 75$. The side of brussel sprout was really acidic (perhaps a bit too much). The service was good overall but I was charged full price on a drink I ordered during the happy hour time (and it was on the happy hour menu). I realised after paying. So, it's my fault I guess. The dessert (lemon cake) was excellent. There were influencers on the table next to us taking a million photos of themselves. It was quite annoying. They took photos for the last hour we were there. Overall, it was okay. The food was not wow (except for the dessert). I don't think it was worth 375$

    Daphne provided an exceptional dining experience, thanks to Amanda, the manager. She accommodated my request for a quiet, comfortable table after a recent concussion and went above and beyond to make our two birthday celebrations special with personalized desserts and drinks. The team also ensured our diverse dietary needs (vegetarian, halal, gluten-free) were perfectly met. Thoughtful and pleasant service, attention to detail, and a warm atmosphere made the evening unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!

    Great food, service and wine. It was a great evening out. Only complaint was that it was very loud. Though that was because there was a large party sitting next to us. Once that party left, even with full tables it was much better.

    Delicious food and amazing service. Had a great night celebrating my good friend m! I made some notes for the server/host via Open Table and didn’t think much of it because they were 2 big asks (one bill for me and dessert to have congrats on it). The server and host followed through in the smoothest way possible making the evening with my friend that much better. Thank you for an incredible evening!

    Wonderful! Kind, lovely and friendly staff. Impressed by everything from the first step in the door! Food was so fresh and so delicious.
